A friend has the original rift and one of the Motion controllers broke so he ordered a new one. He didn't know the Rift-S uses new controllers and that is all they have now on the Oculus site. The new Touch controller will not sync\detect with the original. Seems strange they just completely ditched all legacy support for the original hardware. I guess this is something we all can look forward to. I guess used Ebay parts is the only option?

My friend got a new one from Oculus support after fighting with them for a while over the broken controller.

I found them. They are well hidden on their page. Have to go down to the bottom after it loads games over and over and select the Rift and then go to accessories.
