Hey AMD MoBos! We over in the SFF section need help from an AM4 motherboard owner to measure the distance between the IHS surface on Ryzen CPU to the motherboard PCB.

Link to OP:
LP/SFF Cooler mounting adaptors for AM4

For the LGA 115x socket the "Integrated Stackup Height" (mm) From Top of Board to Top of IHS is 7.781 ± 0.335 mm (source pg24)

I'm providing intel measurements because it was easily accessible information and to show reference to exactly what measurement is needed.

Hopefully someone could help, thanks!

I have a cheap caliper with a depth probe, I'll take a look tonight since I haven't installed a heatsink yet. Probably won't get to it until around 3 Central time.

Thanks for this post and thanks for the measurements! This is a big help for SFF builds such as the Ncase M1 with a Noctua NH-C14 as the NH-C14 just barely fits with an Intel CPU so it's nice to know it should clear with a Ryzen setup.
