The size of almost all graphics drivers has increased, but broadband speeds have also increased. It really doesn't seem like an issue to me, especially since you can delete the download after you install the driver. I mean, a single-layer DVD-R from a quarter century ago was 4.5GB. 1.2GB really is not huge...

Not the Arc drivers...maybe we are confusing legacy vs ARC drivers?

Yup just checked you are right...even older drivers, wow.

I remember a while back Nvidia said their drivers now have more lines of code than all of Windows XP or something, complicated business these GPU drivers.
