windows 11 your pc does not meet the requirements

Hi my pc:
10850K stock 4800mhz

2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3000mhz XMP

Seasonic Tx-850 Ultra Titanium

Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming OC

Aorus Z490 Pro Gaming

1 TB SSD


I have updated Windows 10. In windows update Windows 11 is already to download but i have this :"windows 11 your pc does not meet the requirements"

How to resolve this? Thanks

This may help. I haven't tried it yet. I have a 7 year old Dell Inspiron laptop I was going to try it on. I'm going to pull the existing Win10 installation SSD out and put in a blank one to try it.

You prob have to turn on secure boot and the intel chip pll security in the firmware of you board, had to do the same on a 9700 i7 gigabyte combo to get it to install cleanly.

I found an alternate method using the actual MS ISO file and Rufus. Apparently, Rufus now has an option to remove the requirements from 11 during the burning of the ISO file. I tried it this morning on my spare laptop on a fresh install and it worked without any problems on this 7 year old Dell Inspiron laptop. https://makmodo.com/how-to-bypass-windows-11-requirements/

Just curious why you would not want to use the security features if available on the platform? I get legacy equipment though....

Bet you're running in legacy mode. Probably setup your boot drive as MBR.
