Ubusoft is $1 until October 10th. Includes all games and DLC.

I will play the Assassin's Creed Odyssey crossover DLC (I hated that game), then the Assassin's Creed Valhalla crossover DLC.

Edit: Yeah, I still hate Assassin's Creed Odyssey and it is still one of the worst games I have ever played. Wanted to try the new DLC. Download and load up game. Game saves gone. Maybe this is a Uplay problem, but in either case this game is nothing but bugs and problems. Even years after release there are such glaring and game breaking problems. Really pathetic.

Playing lots of DayZ for the last few weeks. Namalsk is popular again, which was always my favorite map. Other than that I've been playing through Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2 cooperatively. Weird game.

I beat Alan Wake Remastered...

Wtf is with this game? How does it have such a cult following? Yeah the atmosphere is good, but my god is the writing pretentious and loves the smell of it's own farts. The combat was insanely boring and only felt like a distraction from the walking you would otherwise be doing from point A to B. There are story-heavy walking sims I've enjoyed more than this, and I am just perplexed as to why this game got any sort of praise. It does some things right... I enjoyed the TV segments of "Night Springs" and listening to the occasional radio broadcast, but other than that the game was an absolute bore.

Haiku the Robot!!

This game is insanely cool. If you like Hollow Knight you should like this. Very cool aesthetic, very cool sound design, tight control, and a bit more forgiving than Hollow Knight. So it’s a bit more relaxing to play. Absolutely excellent!

I’m playing it on the Switch, but I think there are other platforms it’s on.

Nice setting, good atmosphere, good suspense, great graphics (for its time), interesting story, fun combat. Combat is typical 3rd person shooter affair, so it won't be as good as an FPS by default. But it doesn't exhibit the horrific distortion when aiming that something like 60-70% of 3rd person shooters do so it elevates itself above the competition in that way.

I'm looking forward to AW2, but apparently it will be more like a Resident Evil horror game.

I agree about the atmosphere and if Alan Wake 2 is more like Resident Evil and the combat can be more varied I will be all on board with that. Also curious what they'll do with the new Alone in the Dark reboot.

I'm tinkering with GRID Legends since it's on GamePass. It looks good, runs well, and seems decent, but I'm not sure this one is for me. Difficulty seems to be "we do everything for you - just steer" or "this is a racing simulator" without much middle ground. I think I was hoping for something more arcade-y, but I'm going to give it a chance and keep playing.

I would prefer if it was more like the original, but I do like the recent RE games and want to play RE4 Remake.

Fallout 76 released a couple longer missions ("expeditions") to The Pitt. They're well-done, do a good job of capturing the atmosphere of The Pitt expansion from Fallout 3.

I bailed on GRID Legends and am going to give Ghost of Tsushima a go. The PSN version downloaded a pile of stuff, so I guess I need to figure out what's what to make sure I'm getting the PS5 enhancements.

No idea, but it apparently downloaded the PS4 version, the PS5 version, the PS4 "special" edition, and some other misc. bundle of stuff too. It didn't take that long to download it all, but I have gigabit internet, too.

Hellgate London 2038 private server & reinstalled Battle for Middle Earth II: Rise of the Witch King fan-patched.

I started a game of BFME2 last night just as a test really.... Then, I noticed it had been an hour

Reinstalled Ghost Recon Wildlands to play the 5 or something newer missions I never finished. The Predator and subsequent DLC burned me out lol. Think I unlocked these missions and was done.

Finally playing Control (bought it back in Fall/Winter 2020), I'm liking it. Gave up on Death Stranding (bought same time) - just couldn't get into it. Edit: Don't mind giving Kojima charity money for his new studio at least. I was without a GPU/RTX capable GPU until April this year - why I put these titles off for so long.

i couldnt get into this game...so much not done...
I liked most of this one, not great but the open world to goof around in was enjoyable for what it was. My friends and I set up our own challenges and got a lot of gameplay out of it. Versus was beyond garbage and the DLC was hit or miss, I lean towards miss. I skipped almost ALL Ghost Recon games after the first one, second one I dont recall if I finished. Rainbow 6 and its 3 or 4 expansions were a lot of fun. I remember one of my older brothers and a friend of his using walkie talkies (pre voice comm) to coordinate against me lol. They had college T1 and I had 56k. Ahh the good times.

Taking a break from Horizon Zero Dawn (after five playthroughs and getting every Steam achievement) to hop on Civilization VI.

Been playing Civ VI for the last three days just messing around with exploring and building up my force of minions.

Currently playing Control. Really liking it. Has some pretty trippy stuff.
I've tried getting into Control like 3 times, but quit because the story just confused the hell out of me but I started playing it again a couple days ago and I'm loving it now precisely because it is so weird and out there.

Also played the Modern Warfare 2 Beta and that felt fucking awesome. Worlds better than the shit show that was Modern Warfare MP.

Today is day six of no gaming. I was banging along in Path of Exile, but sort of not really in the mood lately for anything. Focusing on other things. Weird.

Finally started Horizon Zero Dawn to see what the hype was about...
Just made it outside the gate, after being designated the Seeker...
Hopefully it will keep my interest throughout remainder of the game

Got Hidden Deep from Steam - love the game. It's a side scroller but so atmospheric, and the physics/mechanics of moving around is so well done.

Civ VI is a hoot. Netherlands attacked me with units 2 eras above me. Fighting them with catapults, archers and such when a tornado rolls through and damages their units more than mine. Still lost but it was really entertaining.
