Wildlands was a blast.Replaying Ghost Recon: Wildands
I beat Alan Wake Remastered...
Wtf is with this game? How does it have such a cult following? Yeah the atmosphere is good, but my god is the writing pretentious and loves the smell of it's own farts. The combat was insanely boring and only felt like a distraction from the walking you would otherwise be doing from point A to B. There are story-heavy walking sims I've enjoyed more than this, and I am just perplexed as to why this game got any sort of praise. It does some things right... I enjoyed the TV segments of "Night Springs" and listening to the occasional radio broadcast, but other than that the game was an absolute bore.
I agree about the atmosphere and if Alan Wake 2 is more like Resident Evil and the combat can be more varied I will be all on board with that. Also curious what they'll do with the new Alone in the Dark reboot.I'm looking forward to AW2, but apparently it will be more like a Resident Evil horror game.

I bailed on GRID Legends and am going to give Ghost of Tsushima a go. The PSN version downloaded a pile of stuff, so I guess I need to figure out what's what to make sure I'm getting the PS5 enhancements.
How big was the Download for Ghost of? I'm still up in the air about PS+
i couldnt get into this game...so much not done...Reinstalled Ghost Recon Wildlands to play the 5 or something newer missions I never finished. The Predator and subsequent DLC burned me out lol. Think I unlocked these missions and was done.
I liked most of this one, not great but the open world to goof around in was enjoyable for what it was. My friends and I set up our own challenges and got a lot of gameplay out of it. Versus was beyond garbage and the DLC was hit or miss, I lean towards miss. I skipped almost ALL Ghost Recon games after the first one, second one I dont recall if I finished. Rainbow 6 and its 3 or 4 expansions were a lot of fun. I remember one of my older brothers and a friend of his using walkie talkies (pre voice comm) to coordinate against me lol. They had college T1 and I had 56k. Ahh the good times.i couldnt get into this game...so much not done...
Finally playing Control (bought it back in Fall/Winter 2020), I'm liking it. Gave up on Death Stranding (bought same time) - just couldn't get into it. Edit: Don't mind giving Kojima charity money for his new studio at least. I was without a GPU/RTX capable GPU until April this year - why I put these titles off for so long.
I've tried getting into Control like 3 times, but quit because the story just confused the hell out of me but I started playing it again a couple days ago and I'm loving it now precisely because it is so weird and out there.Currently playing Control. Really liking it. Has some pretty trippy stuff.
