I actually liked Pitt and Point Lookout the best. I got the FO3 GOTY, really really nice deal.

Be honest guys. I was not a fan of the first Fallout 3. I do love the concept of the game but in my opinion it felt really off and it felt Repetitive. D2D has fallout 3 new vegas collectors edition for 29 bucks is the game worth it over the first.
I liked Pitt as well. The only real downer was Anchorage for me but I even had fun with that.

Anyone else have a problem getting their FO3 GOTY ed to install the DLC right on Win7 x64? I finally got it installed but man it was one of those things where it just did not work right but when I looked again the files were there.
Wow I hated Anchorage too and The Pitt and Broken Steel were my two favorite. I hated the idea of being stuck inside the virtual world, but it made sense. I did like how the game looked though, the thought of an updated BF2142 with those graphics at the time made me all giddy.
And an online FPS in the Gamebryo engine? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
There is one catch: You can't take the non-violent approach with Tabitha at Black Mountain without a Science skill of at least 60. There is mention of Tabitha at the end credits as well, so it's not just a karma booster.I think that tells the story pretty well on Science not being as valuable in New Vegas. It clears a few dialogue options (although usually just one of several) and can open things that you can open with lockpick or a key.
You honestly couldn't even pay me to try that. That's a disaster waiting to happen.
They need to abandon that engine post haste. This game needs to be the end of the road for it.

At this point I think Science is worth boosting to 50 if you're playing a strict 'good' character, but I think going any further with it would be a waste.

As usual, PC gamers can go pound sand. The reader comments say it all.
I found 2 game breaking bugs this weekend. I'm actually kind of mad. Yes Man fell through the street in front on Lucky 38, and after killing the Legate, the General dissapeared.
I think I will wait for a patch and start a new character before playing this again.

Does it repeat after a load? There is one bug where the Khan girl disappeared. The wiki mentioned a move to pc type console code to deal with it.

Happened on 2 saves, havent tried it again. I figure I'm pretty much finished with the main quest at this point.
I don't mind this at all. From what I remember of some other cross-platform DLC packs it seems released on the 360 first at a higher price, and once they've wrung as much out of the console gamers it's released for substantially cheaper on PC.
I know it is only a game, but I would pay good money to see some one fire it that way with standard ammo. They weigh approx. 200Lbs and the recoil is enough over time to break the tubular steel braces of ring mounts. You would most likely throw your back out just holding it that way. But anyone with a shred of sanity would shit themselves and run away from you if you could use it that way.

Just a heads up guys,
any of you running ffdshow need to add vegas to list of programs it will not be used in, fixed a bit of stuttering for me![]()

M2 Browning machine gun is only 87 lb, 127lb with tripod and T&E.
Add another 25 lbs for the barrel and 30-40 lbs for each 100 round ammo can to your figures and remove the 45 pound tripod and near useless T&E, then add 5 lbs or so for the custom handles to get a closer approximation of what it would actually weigh Toss in the 50 pound brass balls you would need to even consider firing it that way and you got 200Lbs
Give me a break, it was an off the cuff approximation of what I remember them weighing, it was not something I was looking to be all that accurate on. Either way you are not going to fire it as pictured.![]()
