Well I had the 3-day free shipping for my CE, but I decided to get overnight shipping so I'll get it on release day. Oddly enough, they didn't charge me anything for the overnight shipping...yet.

I doubt it. They'll charge the full $60. This is the Activision-Blizzard that wants to take the fun out of games we're talking about here. Good old Blizzard is no more.
Ummm, Starcraft II is incredibly fun. If it's the full $60 it'll still be tons of fun and worth picking up. I was just hoping they'd knock $10 off for the digital copy since they don't have to box and ship it, but from their POV it's an extra $9.95 in their pockets ($0.05 for the bandwidth, which is probably overestimating

Alright here's a mini-rant / clear up of confusion on my part concerning custom games. If ANY of this is incorrect, please by all means correct me. I just wanted some clarification on everything. Here's how I understand the custom game system as of right now:
1) Each account can upload up to 3 custom maps simultaneously unless you pay for more slots
2) Each of these maps has a size limit unless you pay
3) Premium maps can only be downloaded if you pay (i.e. apple app store style)
Now here's something I'm really confused about concerning the actual in game custom game browser:
4) Once you go to create game you can *only* filter by: "blizzard", "recently played", "my published", or "popular" - currently the only way to browse maps published by other players is through "popular". If you find a map you're interested in you press the yellow arrow to download. You can then press play game to create that game. If I want to go back at a later time and play that map again, HOW IN THE WORLD do I sort by "maps I have downloaded" or something similar? The way I do it now is to go to "recently played" - but if I've downloaded and not played that map it won't show up there obviously. This just seems absurd to have to go through the giant master list and search every time you want to play a specific map. There is a search field but god that seems so cumbersome.
5) This just happened to me today - I went to play a map I downloaded yesterday and it's "not found". Either the author updated it or retracted it from the list. Have to go back to the "popular" list and re-find it if I want to update it, there's no way to do that from my recently played list. Either way, this pretty much implies that playing custom game maps is directly tied to bnet? As in, how in the world would playing custom game maps in SP work?? This whole thing just seems absurd.
The way I see it, being able to upload your map to a master server / list is neat. It's not completely innovative considering there were plenty of map websites for WC3 / SC1 that sort of did the same thing. Blizzard's way is just more refined I guess. However, sorting only by popularity is somewhat short sited and hopefully not how it's designed in release. But what really irks me is the complete lack of freedom after you've downloaded a certain map. If it ain't broke, we can break it so we can make money off of it?
Also, what is wrong with simply distributing the galaxy editor file and letting people download that and compiling it on their own computer to play it in SP? Would this be the optimal way to control what you can play in SP?

How much dedicated and/or shared RAM does it have?

I just gotta say, 4v4 is awesome. I haven't even played a 1v1 since beta came back. I'm not that good, but 4v4 is pretty forgiving as long as you can keep up on macro, I think. I mean you don't need to counter everything on your own, so you have less to think about-- like I just go mass stalker and can do pretty well. Someone else always wants to do mass voidray/muta and I let them handle antiair, or just assume someone else will be teching and will be able to get detection so I don't need to bother getting a robo just for that. Anyways whatever, 4v4 is lots o fun .

Don't get me wrong, I love SC2. I've been playing the beta everyday and I've preordered 2 times. Stupid bestbuy canceled my order for no reason, but they sent me a $10 coupon so I just preordered again lol...

If you're looking for a cheaper SC2, Bestbuy probably has SC2 for the cheapest around. They give 500 rewardzone points (which is $10) and they also had 5% BCB.

Since you're above the minimum for RAM & DirectX, I think you'll be fine.

This game is VERY forgiving to hardware. Hell a 6600 GT an run this at lowest with decent FPS.

Dang, its a shame that they finally opened the floodgates so close to the release. I'm sure there are lots of fans out there who wanted in and didn't get a chance (although they should have just preordered for their key if they really wanted it bad).
Yeah seriously, $5 to preorder and get a beta key... well worth it. You can think of it like $5 to rent a game for a couple months.
So I just played this 4v4, within 20 seconds one of the people on our team drops, so we get control of his units (just 6 drones). Someone also starts playing the dropped players spawn too, and somehow 3v4 we end up winning a 25min game.

IdrA and HD/Husky don't like each other if you didn't know. IdrA doesn't like them because they just popped up on the SC2 scene and are making money from their video views off other people's games via YouTube Partnership. They also split their videos into multiple 10 minute videos for more views, even though their Partnership program allows videos to be extended much longer. Also, HDStarcraft was pimping his channel hardcore early on and you could get banned for mentioning it on certain forums. So I can kinda understand why IdrA wouldn't like them and HD probably did this video just to kind of tip his hat.
