It was purchased in Dec 2015. So it should have 2+ years warranty left.

EVGA has an official secondhand warranty that is 3 years from the date of manufacture based on serial number. Go to the EVGA Guest RMA page, enter your card's S/N, and it will tell you the exact date that the S/N-based warranty period expires (the date that would apply to any secondhand owner).
