That council woman needs to be slapped in the face for being this stupid.

Those "Passion parties" that women all over the country have where they get together and look at, talk about, buy sex toys. No big deal right? Oh but if you are a guy and want to have some sex toy action, all of a sudden it's an outrage, degrading, shocking, perverted, and disgusting?

Go look at the rape stats in countries that have legalized, regulated, and taxed sex industries. *gasp* it's lower!

Let's hold back the advancement of society because of her moral hangups. If a guy sticking his dick in a plastic and rubber inanimate object isn't allowed, does that mean we can (in the name of equality) go house to house collecting all the dildos and vibrators women use?


The never ending march of technology will be funny once we do have sex bots and those types of toys, I can easily see women as a whole getting freaked out when they realize there's an easy and affordable way for a guy to find a substitute for actual sex.

As someone who isn't a woman I would think that this is sending a strong message as to where our society is taking us, men want to fuck, not everyone can tinder a fuck buddy for the night, and you make all other avenues illegal, people are willing to deal with inanimate objects to get their release...

Or the other side of it, is some men would rather fuck a silicone covered robot than fuck women like that, and that's a stronger message

I really don't think this has much to do with feminism or swj's -- most of them actually advocate for regulating and legalizing the sex industry as it actually *empowers* women.

I think this is just a case of stupidity at best.

For a woman? Yes.

It is why the majority of those against prostitution are women. If men have other sexual options it takes away a HUGE portion of a woman's market value, and on a social level they are the gate keepers to sex. Take away the need for men to marry or date a woman and you are taking away a huge factor for them in that social contract. Because when you get right down to it, most men are paying for sex, you house, feed and clothe the woman, however all legal factors still favor her. Have kids? She will probably get them. Have money, house, car? She is going to get part or most of it even if she has never worked, etc etc.

Many woman today are wanting to change the social order, they want to be treated like men etc, but don't want to give up the social treatment and favor they have been allotted over time. I don't see that lasting for long.

I have a friend who volunteers with a group that helps get prostitutes that want out of the business, out and (typically) into rehab. The sheer amount of these gals in Texas alone would probably cause most people to wince. Even scarier, the number of drug addicted prostitutes in medium/smaller cities would probably horrify many people. The federal government farked themselves over by taking out Backpage, unless they wanted to hide the problem. That might actually be the reason though, to hide the problem, because as it became "known" the "public" were probably horrified at the number of women selling their bodies in their town of <100k people for the next hit of whatever drug.

Wrong. They consider the women who sell sex poor wittle victims, suffering from internalized misogyny. The "Johns" are 100% pure evil oppressors who deserve arrest, humiliation, and jail. The feminist model of prostitution is referred to as the "Nordic Model", where selling sex is legal but buying is illegal. The irony is this makes the girls less safe than outright legalization as the girls feel safer (they aren't going to get busted) but the guys they are dealing with know they are automatically criminals out of the gate so they think why not ask for more "extras" like unprotected sex. If the gal says no, they just go onto the next seller, because it's a buyer's market. The girls have to compete for buyers, since the pool is artificially limited by making the buyers criminals.

Things change, often for the worse.

When i was a teen around 1980 ( YOB 1966 ) in the summer when we went to the beach > 90% of girls would be topless, and the thong was popular.
Visit a Danish beach today and you will be lucky to see some boobs out in the wild.
Now i dont know why the girls have suddenly become so ashamed of them self, or as i suspect sensualized them self, its not something i can see us men / boys have anything to do with. since the late 60 ties when we Danes freed porn we had stuff like that in our face all the time.
To be honest i think its the internet and stupid social media and silly programs on TV that have turned the girls "sour"

Rape isn't about the sex, it's about the control and humiliation. For 99% of men that are into rape, a doll/robot won't appeal to them. Maybe if the technology evolves to a point where the robots are hard to distinguish from a human, robot brothels could help reduce rape statistics, but not now.

$2,000 - $3,500 depending on preferences. Turn around time 3-8 weeks, again depending on manufacturer and preferences. According to the manufacturers I investigated, delivery is very discreet.

This is what happens when you combine the sexual perversion and permissiveness of men (in general) with general sexual hysteria women bring to bear against men. On top of the fact that you have a non-sentient, semi-autonomous device for your sexual pleasure that can't claim some time of illegal activity against it for various reasons, then you have a condition by which people seem to be shitting themselves over. Women will be pissed that they might be replaced not realizing that their many surrogates have created a condition which is alienating some men to seek other alternatives.

Am I blaming women? To a large degree, I am. I have no issues with women, they always know up front what they will get with me, but I am beginning to rethink whether this is a wise course of action and whether from a legal/monetary point of view they are worth dealing with financially/sexually. Recent headlines notwithstanding, it is a perilous minefield landscape for men out there, when someone can point a finger at you, call you an abuser/attacker/rapist, and you're left holding the bag because of the salaciousness of such a claim.

There are various ways either gender can get off. That's not the issue. The issue is the backlash that women are foisting on men for wanting to find alternatives to their getting off that doesn't involve them.
