I'm gona wait till BF, I don't really have the use of a 1TB right now, but later I will. Unless you need the space for storage now (Porn) i'd say you should wait.

Considering how tough it'll be to get most BF deals unless you decide to get in line 24 hours beforehand (most of the time that's not even possible), I'd say grab it and run with it and leave the other people standing in line... but that's just me. BF might offer good deals on some stuff, but the hassles are getting out of hand these days. This year will be a proverbial nightmare of beyond-epic proportions.

Glad I have no intentions of buying anything and sleeping all BF long. Nice deal on this drive though, first time I've seen a 1TB one going for (technically) under $100.

Even if a 1TB was 50% off, that would only be $50 saved.. worth the day and night long wait in the freezing cold?

Same here.

I bought this drive awhile ago from somewhere for $129.. Its definitely well worth the money though and at $100, its a good deal.

All good points.

Just got in for 2. Saved 7$ from not having to pay shipping. Now I have to go out and get either a 2 bay or 4 bay JBOD/eSata enclosure for the 4 HDD's I have (totaling about 1 TB itself). Anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks!

folks like yall make the line shorter. We need more of you. :D.

But seriously, if it was a huge savings (like $25 or more) and I was getting about4, or I was getting something else from the store that I can't find a good deal online...then yes, I would wait, but to just get one item and wait all night long, you better be saving a lot!

that is true, i do remember people on this forum saying they would not buy a 1TB till it was down to $100, well here it is.

i think the other requirement was that the 1tb drives would also have to be proven as stable and hardy, which a few searches will come up with a big fat NOPE.
