Fresh re-arrange without any cable management. Bookshelf speakers to come on the wall next to the TV and a few other tweaks but this is the basics. Day time and night time shots included.

Top system (big TV on top) is my i7 6700k server and bottom system (dual screens) is a Ryzen 2700x with a mild OC. Second pic is a real-world shot with games open, TV playing, etc.

My always messy setup, recently added in the corner piece and gave myself more desktop area, I don't have a recent picture of the TV mounted above the monitors, I finally built a proper mount and it is level and the spacing is improved. Also included a shot of my MAME cabinet, a work in progress!

A friend gave me his 2500k setup after I built him a Ryzen 2060 Super setup.
Put the parts into a new Corsair 465X case and put it up in my bedroom.

MSI is home computer, Lenovo is COVID-19 VPN special (back wall, just swivel 180 degrees in place)
Good for cranking 94.7 the wave while social distancing)

Can definitely confirm home computer is where it's at.

Just finished my new 10' desk, built the legs out of 3"x3" steel tube and painted it with some hammerite. Flat plate with threaded inserts to mount the top to the frame and mcmaster carr levelers for the feet. Used a Baltic birch counter top from Lowe's with 2 coats of stain and 4 coats of poly. Turned out nice. Still need a few more screws to attach it and drill some grommets for wire management. Ncase on the right is my primary and my old Phenom II X6 rig in the HAF X is the secondary.

Been working from home for over 5 years now. This is the gaming side of the office. The other side has a 2012 21.5" iMac in Target Display Mode connected to a 2015 iMac Retina 5k strictly for work.

I just modded my case today to fit a vertical gpu mount. Now I have noticed the clear plastic strips are hazy, and not transporting the light all the way though.... Shucks.

Moved my setup down into the basement as the Wife took over the office (as she's doing actual work at home while I mostly game/consume media). I quite like the setup and regret not doing it earlier, much more spacious down here and it shares space with my workout equipment - so perhaps i'll get more fit?

Cabling is a bit of a mess in the back, probably use some straps and magnets to attach them to the back of my tanker desk (which was a pain to drag down stairs).

The 27" was nice, but being at 1080P was killing me. I was looking for local deals, and found a Dell WFP3008 for $100. Picked it up for $80. Guy actually lived in the same neighborhood.
This one is only 60hz, but it feels and looks like the original Apple Cinema displays I used to constantly work with.
I have DP hooked up, and this thing is definitely a space heater!

Anyways, here is my new setup with a new desktop and gaming resolution of 2560x1600.

(I know this monitor is old, but I can't get over how much I love it)

It was a friends case that I upgraded last year to a Thermaltake one with glass side panel and 3 RGB fans in the front.
I also sold that Tsunami with an 8 core AMD earlier this year and slapped together a modded Xeon 771 and Gigabyte 775 setup to replace it,

I am curious too.. the prices on those are insanely good.

Here’s my m-f view now..

I have my work laptop under the desk with about 8 things plugged into it.. power, usb external sound card, usb c hub for kb mouse and webcam, hdmi, Ethernet.. lol.

How do you like the Viotek? Just ordered the smaller 1080p 144hz for the kid.

The very short review is that I got what I paid for. The power cable connection is loose out of the box, so slight jostles turn the screen off. Sometimes I need multiple power cycles for it to pick up a signal from HDMI/DP. It used to make an awful screeching noise. There is constant "static"/artifacting that appears on the screen on certain background colours when running at 100hz.

Given that it was 50% the price of the comparable *good* ones I can't complain too much, but I certainly wouldn't recommend or buy from Viotek again.

Fair enough! I just hooked my kids up and so far it's doing well. He's coming from a 10+ year old ViewSonic 22" that claimed 60hz but ghosted like it was 24hz 😃
