Official EVGA Ampere Queue Thread

My 3060 queue popped today. Had no idea these things were so cheap. Now let's hope my 1400 other queues do the same. Daddy needs miners.
 
Signed up for 3060 Ti 08G-P5-3663-KL on 12/1/2020 11:44:07 AM PT and got my notify 8/24/21.
 
I don't expect a definitive answer to this question but have to "ask" anyway -- is EVGA just moving that slowly or are there a gajillion orders for these cards?

I would guess EVGA is moving a small amount of orders through the notify queue and the rest through retail and other channels. Maybe 10% of inventory are allotted to the notify queue? Just a guess.

Honestly, I would think even less dedicated to notify and step up queues. If you aren't in the queue in the first 5 or 10 minutes you are waiting months. I still have a 9/18 notify for a 3080 card that was never filled.

I'm pretty sure the base 3060 model is still listed as KR and never got a KL revision because it was always intended to be reduced hash rate despite the beta driver leak.

There are two versions though, V1 that works with the leaked driver and V2 which does not and there is no branding on the box to differentiate. I think V2 cards have a sticker on the back of the card. Chances are your card is V2.

Oh well. I don't think the mining limiter bothers RavenCoin.
 
Just got my 3080ti allocation today. So far have gotten my 3090 FTW3 and 3080ti now. Since launch have gotten a 3090XC3, 2x3090FTW3, 3070TI, 3080ti.

Just got my notice for a 3090 FTW3 Ultra today... I have no need for it as I have one already I got at MicroCenter in December. Selling my que one to a buddy at work for exactly what I pay for it. At least I know it will be used for gaming!

If not interested in mining, sell your 3080 and get the Ti and make money in the process :)
 
screw this whole gpu bullshit. im so bent out of shape about it.
I've been in queue for every. I just want a gpu so I can pass my son my 1070. His 780 cant play most of what he wants and its frustrating. His dads the computer guy and cant lock a gpu at all.

I have a 2060S I need to move but because I paid a premium for my 3070Ti, I need a premium in return. That's just the market right now.

yup! Im not mad at the players, im mad at the game.
 
I've been at this since voodoo1. You gotta have contacts, friends in retail and distribution channels and even friends at both companies to secure some stock. Though I try to keep my professional side separate from my personal side as I don't like calling in favors through commercial channels when it's stuff I use at home.
 
I had a 3080 ti pop last night in the queue. Didn't claim it because I only entered that queue as a plan C if I didn't get a regular 3080 first (I did).

Shoulda bought it and sold it here at cost, still lots of people who would like to have one I'm sure.

I have better things to do with my time than spending an hour of it driving too/from/etc the nearest UPS location to drop off a package; even without the risk of being scammed for >$1000 in the process.

For >$1000 and no personal gain the maximum risk I'm willing to take is ~0. The risk of a scam is >0. If reselling for a modest profit to cover time/risk was allowed I might; but the blanket ban to shut down scalping in the main FSFT board means I can't.

3060 came through yesterday. S/B at the house Friday.
 
I'm 4 mins away from the EVGA 3070 Ti FTW notify. I'm not sure if I want another 3070 Ti.

Any friendly people get a cost price on 3060 ti, 3070 or 3080 (non-ti) id love to buy one at cost. Throwing it out there. I didnt sign up for any notifies last year because I didnt think this crap would happen... All my notifies dont even start until 3/25/21. So thats like a year away lol....
 
You're really optimistic with that timeframe on how things are moving at the moment! :(
 
I'm seeing a lot less evga stuff in the shuffle, and a lot more movement of the queues. I can't help but feel maybe they've met their contractual quotas and are allocating more to their website sales.
