I like the first design better. The second design forces you to remove your mobo tray to install/remove your video cards, which can be a pain, especially in SLI/Crossfire setups. I would like to see the hard drives mounted over the back of the video cards in a removeable caddy. You would still have plenty of clearance for tower heat sinks. I would also like to see the AC power plug moved to the center or below the 120mm fan, which needs to be moved up so it can better scavange hot air at the top of the case.

I would like you guys to know that we paid a LOT of attention to the fact that MOST of the components in this case are removable. So NO, you do not have to pull the tray out to install your video card, neither in the first nor the second design. In fact, the bracket that goes over the video card is totally removable. All the removable parts in the case are, as of the current design, mounted using VERY high quality hardware/insert that will allow you my friends to unmount and re mount your case as many time as you want without damaging the thread.
I also posted this picture to show you a bit better how the power supply fits in the case. If you look carefully, you can see 2 of the 2.5" slots under the 5.25" bay.
The fans shown in the picture: top one: 92mm for HDD (25mm deep compatible) - or 80mm x 80mm x 25 mm; bottom one: 60mm x 10 mm for RAM.
For those of you who are concerned about the front of the case, I would like to add that we will make different face compatible with the case, some with and without grills. So people will be able to choose depending on their needs/wants. Same for the side window. It will be an option at first.
I will answer some more of your questions later today. Be patient!
