I don't know how to explain it, and I didn't take pictures yet, but someone else has to have this same problem. My 6800gt "droops" with the nv5 on it. It's so heavy that the card actually looks like it's warped when it's in the agp slot.

Anyone else have this? Is there any good way to support the card?

Alien ware has card supports that are attached to the slots in back, maybea similar product exists or you could contact them and request a special order.

I think I saw a review on those somewhere. They're for holding the card down in the slot. They don't look like they will support the card vertically because of how they screw into the case. I think it might swivel or rotate and allow the card to "droop" down as it is now.

I just ordered a CK03-1225. It's wider than the rest, and mounts with two screws, so it shouldn't rotate or swivel. I'll post how well it works to keep the card straight when I get it.

Let us know how it fits! I will definitely order one if it works well for you. My 6800 NU droops quite a bit with just the stock fan :p

Yeah, I had a plain bfg 6800 and it drooped too....then I bought the bfg 6800gt and it has the same hs/f. The stock bfg hsf is pretty to look at, but it's almost as heavy as the nv5, loud as hell, and it sucks at cooling.

I'll keep you posted. My only concern is wether it will fit with the silencer on. The plastic fan shroud on the nv5 will come VERY close to the cardkeeper. Hopefully it will fit :)

It works! My 6800 feels extremely secure now. I had to cut away a little bit of the cardkeeper to get it to fit. It's straight as an arrow now. I'll take some pictures later.
