Miasma Chronicles

I spent like two hours in Mutant Year Zero not sure why I didn't get back to it was Free on Epic like two years ago.
 
I'm looking at the Steam Stream it doesn't look like anything I would want just too plain.
 
Does anybody have this? I'm thinking about buying it although from what i've been reading it's really difficult And doesn't give you a lot of options as to how you approach battles, in that it sounds like there's a very limited way to do them correctly.
