MDK on Steam has been updated

A surprise update from Interplay for the 24-year old game adds a D3D wrapper and brings back the missing Glide files to improve compatibility with modern systems. You no longer need a separate Glide wrapper or fan patch to get the game running in Windows 10.

Wow, this sure brings back memories of my first Pentium-based system.

It also reminds me of the old "Demolition Man" movie.

Crazy. I remember loving this game back when it first came out. Reminds me of being home from college during the summer. The second one, too, although I didn't enjoy that one nearly as much.

Tough to imagine them revisiting the franchise, but it might be fun to see some MDK references in other games. At least assuming there's any Shiny lineage left at Amazon Games.
