gotcha, although unfortunately mine does not have an optical drive as it was removed to save space by designSo its not an option for me, but I'd love to have a super compact and quite speedy laptop just a bit larger than a netbook
I can comfortable watch movies on it while flying. My biggest complaint is startup time, which I optimized a bit using MS config but I know it would be a TON faster with a 160GB Solid state. Unfortunately by the time the prices on them are reasonable I fear my notebook will be completely obsolete.

Nice laptop
The other option would be to run intel 80gb SSD as the internal drive and a 1tb (or 500gb) WD Passport velcroed to the top of the laptop with the usb cable managed down the side of the screen. Yeah, it's a little bump but I think it is worth it due to the huge speed increase.
