Help - Abit IS7-G

P4 3.2 Northwood, IS7-G, Corsair PC-3200C2PT.
Can't seem to get it stable. No overclocking. Won't run stable at auto / default settings.
Please advise any settings and bios revision that has worked for you.

have you tried a bios update yet?

oh yeah, i just flashed the bios this afternoon to the latest version 2.0
now an alarm goes off and won't stop sounding, and the pc won't boot anymore.
please ask your friend if this is because the board had an evaluation rom on it
and now it has somehow locked it? I'd like to know.
