[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

Wonder if they're doing what they did before, multiple drops a day - it still shows as 'Coming Soon', which is how it was on those days they did 9AM/12PM/3PM/6PM drops ...
They have had some items listed as “coming soon” on their website for weeks before it actually came back in stock.
They have had some items listed as “coming soon” on their website for weeks before it actually came back in stock.
Well then ... I'm happy to know that but also sad. Maybe the first point in my life where I have disposable income to spend on upgrades and {waives arms} this is all going on...

Nope. Can't buy it.

Error: There was a problem with some of the items in your order (see below for more information):

  • AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor Without Cooler
Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.
False error. It's not in stock. There's an incorrect parameter set in seller control panel by whoever manages AMD stock on there, and it keeps setting off the instock alerts on the various Discord channels.

Seemingly they are only doing store pickup only. The last time they did that for the 3060ti, it was a nightmare even after having it in cart, couldn't check out. I am guessing by now allocations are spent.
In store pick up only and none near me. I have it in my cart with nowhere to go.
I'm stuck at 'we're having people complete an additional step before adding to cart'. Been that way for 20 plus minutes. Should I just close the browser?

EDIT: Now it's in my cart but it's saying it's sold out. LOL
Seemingly the new jig is not just to have it in your cart, but to be able to check out...sigh...
It’s been up for several hours but it’s bugged. Won’t let you ship it anywhere.
Found this nugget of info on reddit, incase anyone is interested.

In terms of the strategy, this is NOT, as far as I can tell, about some addresses working and some not. It is an error on Amazon's side where it fails to go through the vast majority of the time.

To successfully place the order, I kept switching between maybe 3-4 addresses in the dropdown menu of the buy now page, without hitting check out or re-adding to my cart, for a decent amount of time until the message was no longer there."
Walmart and Amazon bots are available all over the internet. Seems like everyone's using one now.
Daughter was able to get an xbox from BB here in Central Florida 10 min ago. Had one in my Walmart cart but would not let me check out.

Xbox Series X in stock. Got it into the cart twice, went to PayPal checkout screen.
I've been stuck on "Please wait..." for the past 5+ minutes

Forgot to mention, this was on Walmart.com. I managed to do it twice. This was around 12:30 - 12:35 PST, then around 12:40 - 12:45.

PS5 went out sooner, could never get it into the cart properly.
I got stuck there. On a lark just popped in to the Walmart site minutes before new stock. Had one added to cart, CAPTCHA, out of stock. Never had a chance.

I'm going to assume the PS5 has more demand, seems the Xbox stays in stock long enough to grab one.
To put it lightly 95% of those people bomb the IQ scale for common sense. There's an entire rant that could be made for uninformed retail purchasers after simply reading the top five most recent posts there, but this sort of idiocy is about part for the course:

"Never buy anything from Newegg EVER AGAIN!
I bought a cpu that cost $500 but I never received the cpu. I filed a report to refund my money back but they claimed that they shipped it. I never got my money back. Newegg is the worse company EVER! (NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM NEWEEG). You will get scammed."

Well, your money, your risk.

So who got a PS5 or Series X from Walmart / Target / Best Buy today?

Hearing it’s happening tomorrow too.

Drops: Random. They do not alert to drops ahead of time.

Drops: They announce their notify-queue signups on Twitter generally 48hrs in advance.

Just a head's up: I haven't visited newegg in a long time and I haven't been even trying to buy any of these online. I was able to check their site a few weeks ago just fine for a PSU, but clicked on this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1grN282tPodM9N57bPq4bbNyKZC01t_4A-sLpzzu_7lM/edit# and then the 6800 XT link (https://newegg.io/tw-6800) and now I'm IP banned for 24 hours.

Had this in the cart just a few moments ago. Too bad I can't afford it.
The drops for the 3080s tonight on Newegg sold out too quick for me. I got the notifications from the Tech Stock bot while playing some games but they were gone by the time I clicked the links. I think the bot isn't always quick enough.
