you can just use HDMI 2.1 with your GPU, activate Gsync (it is activated in you Screenshots) and the go for Windows variable refresh rate, its way the same
So you cannot run the latest Nvidia drivers? sounds like a deeper issue may be at play here - Definitely software related.
first, make sure you have HDR on in your OSD, that the monitor would be able to get HDR.
With HDMI 2.1 is the same that Display port.
I can install the last drivers 496,49 but with drivers DCH i lost Nvidia panel.
It takes about 3 minutes to run since you double click with the mouse.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with OLEDs of any sort. I have avoided them due to burn-in concerns as my work usage leaves static tools on screen for hours each day and I can't avoid this - save for moving the tools around and I'm not willing to constantly relearn my muscle memory for where they are on screen for the sake of babying the panel.Hi, newbie here having OLEDs from the 2nd LG generation, now on C8 and SamsungS32D850...that just has been fired (thank you Samsung for fragile power supply MOS)
I was looking at this Aorus at the beginning BUT if I follow the 48C1 or 43QN90A or 50QN90A have much better tech and less pricied (at least here in France vs Aorus lcd 43" and even 48" oled version)

As my S32D850 is burned I can not compare and do fine tests, but up to what I've done CANCELING the "cleartype" on my 65" oled, makes it easier to read (no or less colors splashing under the loop
with my lenovo spare 22" lcd, the activating the ClerType makes it good...even better vs. Oled I think in terms of "clarity", seems to me.
so if I'm not wrong R+G+B pixel lcd mini led quantum panel theoretically should be more "readable" vs W+R+G+B subpixel structure?
I can not measure it under the loop, but this W subpixel takes some place anyway!
I'm not afraid about the burn-in, but for sure, it takes to be taken as serious disadvantage for the PC productivity / static work mainly.
DOes someone has compared 48 oled and 43/50 qled, even better if this minimed QN90 series

THANKS, i'm using 125% scaling, looked at 43qn90 vs FV43U but qn90 even in 43 is still too expensive, but now when I've almost discredited oled with some tests on my LG 65C8 and this crazy yellow or green texts with red and cyan dots/lins left/right, I'll reconsider again Samsung...maybe the less expensive M7 43"...but I don't know if it is RGB or BGR...I've seen your posts about teh BGR, but now I'm confused as it seems that the "TV" panels are still not optimized, even if I am pretty sure that the QN90A in 43" is the best specs one up to what we have today. Maybe to go with 50", but I don't need the 120hz so probably to big for me even if I can mount it on the wall and my desk is 75cm deep + 35cm (110cm = 43") as I'm always writing in office chair relaxed/inclination position. So even this FV43U is not for me as I'm looking for the best text clarity first of all.
Don't get the 43 Samsung, it has gimped specs in comparison to the 50". The 50 is the sweet spot. It's "the one" to get.
That was my thought as well. Have you read the same thing though? Some people saying enable it via the monitor and not in windows. Not sure what they meant. I've found that in the sdr mode (green) if you go further into the menu you can actually toggle hdr to "on" but it doesn't actually enable hdr if it's not enabled within windows. Not sure what the purpose of that is.
thanks for the comment, BUT it seems that 43QN90 has the RGB ADS panel, the 50QN90 in Europe has the VA...and for the PC use RGB seems better, I mean productivity work, not Video&Games...and for me the important part is the PC MONITOR use; text clarity etc. teh RGB is the way to go...and YES it's strange that the 43" is "only" 50hz, and all the list of specs missing vs bigger brothers. really crazy, as the price is almost the same for the 43" as well as for the 50"...1K here in France (the 50" has been even less expensive, 0.8K for the Black Friday
the cable which was included works for 4k 144hz Full RGB 10Bit + HDR
If you leave it at a full 100% bright screen all the time, maybe. But even then it should last longer than one would reasonably keep the monitor.
I keep my QN90A on max brightness max contrast with hdr on in the monitor & in windows full time. I never turn off hdr. I don't suspect I will ever encounter any issues. Noone has reported such issues that we know about here on the forum about this display so I would say it is not of any concern.
I'm not sure either the FV43U or the QN90A have been available and in use for long enough for anyone to report LED lifetime issues. It'd be a serious concern if that was cropping up already, even if people are using HDR all the time.

I don't use HDMI on this screen so cannot comment if F05 has broken it for me. Updated whilst on DP and no issues, update took about 10 mins.
