That stuff is a real PITA to clean off the VRMs/inductors. I'm going try to avoid using it if possible.

If it is the same stuff they use on their FTW3 3xxx card then it sure is.

It looked like it. I just recently did a re-pad on a 3xxx ftw3 and I probably spent the most time trying to clean that stuff off.

Why do you care how much someone else spends on thermal pads? We have people spending over $3 grand on 3090's. I added meaningful information to the thread about what performance we saw using Fujipoly pads on a 3090FE.

And I added meaningful information that you don't need to spend that crazy amount to get very similar results.

Oh I forgot to mention we didn't use all $300 of Fujipoly pads. He just spent around that much. We have plenty of it left over. One 3090Fe was water blocked, the other is air cooled.
He plans on buying either another card, a 3080Ti? Either way you will need a lot of thermal pads because you basically have to redo them on all over priced nvidia cards now.
