Alright, I'm back, after a long absence from all modding I have returned, with good news... I scrapped that old hunk of junk Deep Freeze case that became crap because of overdoing it, and have begun modding a new case. Heres teh details:

Yes, it is a premod, No, it doesnt matter. Yes, it will take me a long time. Yes, I beleive i can accomplish most of my plans...

Here are the photos of the case as it is:

front_01.jpg

-Will be filled into be completely flat with the slight curve, door modified, and modded as shown in my plans...

inside_01.jpg

-Will be cleaned up more, blue-led fans will be added, and a new PSU fit to match the theme...

The premod window will be cut and turned into a regular square, then modded as my plans show, and the usual edge frosting...

Will cut more windows, will frost windows, will install a power strip and blend in with case, and will mod as my plans show...

-*See first description for top side...

Here are my plans for the case, which I will only use parts of: (Most of the plans will be mixed.)

sketch_01.jpg

-Doors will be made to open to the sides and slide inside, where there will be two stealthed drives, vents under that with imitation frosting coming out of them, fan with a tunnel and led behind it, and the cyro-chamber below that, which will slide out of the case, and perhaps open...

sketch_02.jpg

-Left side panel will have styrene laid down and risen above with piping and/or "kitbashing", pipes will run under from bottom to top, will add acryllic spheres/half spheres/circle windows with acryllic rod running from it to the other side. "Tron"-style circuitry, light up by blue-leds will be etched...

-Right side panel, window will be cut around venting already on side panel, edges will have styrene laid down and decorated/kitbashed/piped, "Tron"-style etch with the words "Deep Freeze" done in the same style, with mods on vents which are yet to be decided...

-Top side panel, one more window cut into it, power strip modded into and blended in, kitbash/piping/decoration on the sides, with "Tron"-style etch done...

sketch_03.jpg

-Redone front side, one big door decorated with styrene which will open to the side and slide in using a track style retraction which a motor or a solenoid. Vents with frosting coming out from them, light up by a blue-led. (**Might make it so it opens and there will be a fan controller behind it**) Fan with a tunnel and led behind it. Cryo-Chamber underneath that fan that will either: a) Hang on a arm that will move outwards and back in using a motor, track, and a belt/chain. b) Will hang on the arm and be pushed out by a solenoid. Will have Audio/USB/Firewire connections on the bottom. Completely frosted windows on the sides with a single pipe going down from the top to bottom, both light by 2 blue-leds. (One top, one bottom)

...I will do my best to complete this case as much as possible like the drawings I have done. It will be quite a long process and I may go without updating for a couple weeks at a time because of school and stuff but I do hope to have it finished by the end of December...

Thanks, comments and suggested are appreciated!

looks like someone got bored in class today...

ahah looks good though.. nice plans

i dislike those cases but what your doing will make it look awesome. good luck!

thanks guys, and yes very bored lol, if i get the time, ill re-do all the sketches with a rule, protracter, tape measure, and do it in pencil, ill get all of the exact measurments in too...

Looks cool, are those stock handles? I really like the way they look, I'll have to try and find some if I can.

quick question, why the power strip on top? will it be functional, and if so will it be used?

nope not stock handles, and as you may notice the front one unscrewed on its own during my move and i bought them at Doody's Home Center, i do beleive it is a chain in the U.S. for about 2 bucks each...

yea thats what im probably doing, either getting pre-sleeved or sleeving it myself...

the loom does look ugly but i was thinking of making some kind of frost and putting it on the top, painting white etc.. so it would look frozen inside too...
