Dad needs a Microphone

need some help no nothing it cant be that hard on a desktop pc microphone for chatting any ideas on what to look for or use? Under 20 Bucks would be Nice Thanks!

If it's only going to be used for basic chatting just run to Walmart/Best Buy and pick up one of those Logitech or Insignia desk microphones for $10-20. They work fine for what they are.

If he wants something a little nicer for a little more money you can grab a Fifine microphone off of Amazon for $40ish.

You might as well just get him a webcam, since all webcams these days come with microphones. If he is going to do conferencing on the PC, video is the next logical step anyway.
