Cyberpunk 2077 PS4/5 & Xbox $10 with steelbook today only (8/17/2021) at Best Buy

Alright, 10$. I suspect the PS4 running cyber punk is still poor. Running it on PS5 has the basic performance changes I think, probably similar to PS4 Pro. CD Projekt Red indicated a PS5 version/upgrade is coming in 2021, and owners of the PS4 version bought after Dec 10th qualify for free.
 
Yeah... had to jump on this. I was waiting either until the PC version drops below $20 or preferably a DLC-Included GOTY edition released (however no DLC has been talked about yet), but for $10 and the fact that I have a Xbox Series X lying around AND they are including the $10 Steelbook this is one hell of a deal.

I will just hold onto the game and not play it until the Series X "next-gen" update releases some time this year to actually play it. As far as the DLC goes since it's non-existent at the moment I am not worried about it. If I LOVE the game so much that I will need the DLC (whatever it ends up being) then I will get it when it releases.

For those with a base PS4 or Xbox One I would highly recommend watching this:

Damn for this price I almost want to jump on this since I have a PS5. But I already have it on PC and have not touch it since a week after launch. Good price.
 
Bought it for the heck of it and something on the best buy site got jacked up. Shipping the game to my house and the stupid steel whatever to the store, and it charged me for the steel thing. $23 total. What a mess.

It tried to do that with me when I opted to use paypal but I noticed it in time. Using my card instead charged a total of $10.81 after tax (doing store pickup)

CDPR has been completely silent on everything for months. They've made alot of promises, and have missed on every one.

Yeah, I used paypal. I thought it was odd to show shipping and in-store. I assumed it was a glitch and would correct itself when I hit confirm. It obviously didn't. I'll just leave that steel case or whatever at Bet-Buy and hopefully they'll credit me back. I'm sure that will be easier than trying to deal with customer support to straighten it all out.
 
Thanks I bit. I love Cyberpunk even if everyone hates CDPR right now. It’s a really good game. Perfect? No way. But it’s worth $10 for the steel book alone.
 
I used a $10 Best Buy reward. Decided to have both shipped to the store since they won't ship the steelcase.

I just went in an canceled the steelcase so I don't have to go to the store.

Amazing deal. Sad that it fell so low, but happy that new people can experience the joy (assuming they are not on base PS4 esp.).

So best buy places one of their shitty difficult to remove pick up stickers directly to the steel book case, which comes unwrapped. I know it's included free, but having to possibly mess it up just to remove the sticker is pretty irritating.

Edit: wasn't as bad to remove as I feared. Once it started coming off it stayed in one piece. Was covering up some scratches, though. Oh well, it was free.

Still waiting for my pickup order to come in but I’ll report back.
 
Yeah, I had to use Goo Gone on the steel book (bought it when the game released). It's annoying but not the end of the world.
