I've been wanting to try Reds for a while now. I guess for $30 I'll roll the dice. Thanks OP.

Grabbed one! Going to give the good keys a try over the ol' membrane ones.

I bought this keyboard new back in 2018. I would like a mechanical keyboard to use for my work computer, but don't want to pay $70. Anything comparable to this?

Alienware has a mechanical keyboard that usually goes for around $30-40 these days, with brown switches (not cherry mx, they are some other brand) and no backlight, though it does have a RGB strip on the front edge that is barely noticeable.

I have one and I like it, not having backlights isnt really a big deal to me since I touch type anyways.

Why would this deal not work? You can always turn down/off the backlighting.

I would have bought a K63 for $30. I bought my first 10-keyless keyboard a few months ago and I am loving the compact size. Mine has Outemu blue switches and it is OK, but I'd prefer some reds.

Unfortunately the deal is dead. Clicking in the link in the OP shows a price of $70, which is ironically more expensive than a brand new K68. No sense buying a referb for more than new.

If people are still looking for a deal on a K68 they may have luck at their local Walmart. Check out brickseek to see if any are in inventory and to verify the pricing. They should come up at $45.

If you don't mind loud, clicky switches and are ok with or prefer a 10-keyless model, then this one is worth a look - https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-KUM...agon+keyboard&qid=1560197306&s=gateway&sr=8-2

It is $30 and I have been using one for months. If I could replace mine with one that has red switches I would do it, but otherwise I'm quite happy with the Redragon.
