BATTLEFIELD 1

Well, just killed the last of my trial time. Time to eat some dinner before release proper.
 
So the game unlocked proper but I still cannot connect to EA Online. When in game all I get is "offline" mode and the SP is my only option. Reading some scarce reports out there by similar people but it seems most people are fine. No matter I do I get a "failed to connect to EA online".

Anyone else?
 
No idea, but it seems the release might be a bit rough. I tried playing with Dem, but just kept getting errors whenever we'd try to connect to each others servers.
 
But are you guys "online" when in the game client? Mine just says I'm offline, I cannot go online no matter what. Can't see news, or store tab etc.. as well.
 
Well, it's funny you say that... It actually shows offline when I move my cursor to the right, but everything works correctly for me as far as news/multiplayer/etc go. If you want to toss me a request on origin I'll see if I can invite you to a game.

EDIT: Hurp durp. It shows offline when I move my cursor to the right cause none of my friends are online...
 
Firewall blocking? You may have to allow it. I always turn off my software firewall with new games until I get it all running. I still have a router so no harm

Just picked up the Ultimate Edition for 130 bucks. As a PC gamer primarily it's very rare I spend that much on a PC game, but as with the previous BFs even if I play them casually to pass the time, (and even though I absolutely hate some of the piss poor design decisions with the level design) I always felt I got my monies worth in the long run.
 
Sometime tonight I'll be attempting to play with a AMD 960T unlocked to 6 core stock speed. Wish me luck lol
 
WOW it runs great. I haven't been so impressed with a games visuals since the original COD came out in 2003.

Very nice game intro they let me play at 33% loading.
 
I'm having some pretty bad performance issues with an i5 4670 and a 1070 running on LOW... what the fuck.
 
Running medium with TSA and HBAO on and the game still looks great. Ultra everything on SP and it looks INCREDIBLE but it's just too distracting to play MP like that.

Yeah probably the coolest aspect of the game if you have the time to play thorugh it. Otherwise I prefer TDM/Rush/Domination. I play conquest to level up faster because you can rack up so many points in a good match if you win, but I really have just never been a fan of it.
 
**Fixed my connectivity issues. My account was in a locked/banned status because of the VPN I used to unlock early. They said it was a "security" measure, mhmm. Anyways, they unlocked it and I'm online and good to go.

Lesson learned, the jig is up.. no more using VPNs to early unlock EA games. They are flagging this now and the process is wholely automated to lock accounts until you open a support case with someone on the phone.
 
Lmfao at the failed Behemoth pilots.

Too many times have I already seen that thing just literally hover maybe ten feet off the ground over the enemy flag. But man, when you get it positioned right, it's done. Lol

Stationed Anti air gun is the best weapon in the game I think. At least my favorite to use.
Planes go down in seconds and the behemoth too if you hit it in the right spots. It'll drop fast.

I only played one map and game of TDM but it wasn't fun. I could hardly find the other team.
 
just keep trying to reconnect, you'll get there. Took me a couple mins this morning to get in.
 
Early this morning i could connect but not now, it just says I am offline.
 
Well I guess it's time to play some of the campaign.

It's exactly the same as during the Battlefront launch, and you do the exact same thing :p I started trying to connect like 15 mins ago and got in around 10 mins ago. All luck of the draw, and it's shitty sometimes. Matchmaking on the other hand is yet to be seen if it's up or not XD

EDIT: Matchmaking is up. Tripwire and I just got into a game.

That's a shame. What's the point? What's that prove to do that?

Is it just a "because we can" thing or is it more proactive, hostile spite issue?
 
My game is not quite smooth. Turned down settings to low, but the minor sttuter is slightly there. The beta was not like this.
