Are both devices FCC Class B rated? If so, nothing to see here. Works as designed and tested.

Well, if the pencil is interfering with the FOB, then clearly it's doing something wrong for the part (1) of that.

not necessarily, it may be that the car's fob sensor is (probably intentionally) sensitive to radio activity, and the pen just happens to emit some noise in the correct band. Doesn't have to be strong noise to mess with a receiver, just has to raise the noise floor above the level that the fob is transmitting at.

No it isn't. Inconvenient interference sure, but not harmful (or cooking, messing with pacemakers etc...)

So...if you can't buy and drive an Apple smartycar, then no Applecolyte need unlock and drive any other car brand. Better for Apple to develop new smartyphones that cost the same as a car. But shinier.

Don't they know they have to get an official Apple (tm) car unlocker for only $99.99? Regular Uncool people only lock their keys in the car but Apple people use their stylus to do it!
