This equipment has been verified to comply with the limits for a class B computing device, pursuant to FCC Rules.
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
not necessarily, it may be that the car's fob sensor is (probably intentionally) sensitive to radio activity, and the pen just happens to emit some noise in the correct band. Doesn't have to be strong noise to mess with a receiver, just has to raise the noise floor above the level that the fob is transmitting at.Well, if the pencil is interfering with the FOB, then clearly it's doing something wrong for the part (1) of that.

No it isn't. Inconvenient interference sure, but not harmful (or cooking, messing with pacemakers etc...)Well, if the pencil is interfering with the FOB, then clearly it's doing something wrong for the part (1) of that.
I'll take 3 of them.
Meanwhile my physical keys work fine in both the door & ignition
