Corsair vengeance 32gb.
ok, so based on the info I got from my oc teammates and their experience, overclocking ddr4 module kit (in this case, your 32gb kit is probably a dual rank) to 4000+ gear mode 2 will be very hard.

What kind of chip you got there with your ram kit? Hynix DJR or anything else?

There is virtually no chance of reaching those speeds with that memory.

I'd try maybe 3600 and gear 1 with extra voltage.

I doubt it. They would probably have to be so loose that you would loose the performance you gained by clocking it higher.

Maybe a testmem5 screenshot showing it is stable also.
that's correct.
I have my doubt over that chip even hit 4k even on single rank.
now to hit that 4k with dual rank on intel platform???

this is my micron rev-e (Adata D50 32gb rgb), dual rank, xmp 3600 c18, hitting 4534mhz 18-24-18-18 1.5v, but only managed to do AIDA test as the ram kit was ordered for my friend's build.

Your micron hit 4k easily....
On (renoir) ryzen mind you. and with effort (manually adjusting primary, sub, and tertiary).
To this day, Renoir / Cezanne have one the best IMC for DDR4 overclocking.

Like I said previously, my oc teammates have experiences overclocking that micron rev-b ON Intel platform (gen 10/11), and he can't reach more than 4k, even if he tried to adjust the SA and Dimm voltage

But i've also learned my RAM stability is tied to my CPU temps. Locked to 70C i'm totally stable, but I've got a chance at random crashes if the CPU hits 75C.

that's probably the IMC too.
that's why I included my cezanne screenshot above for reference.

4k with c18 already good for intel + micron rev-b.
I would say the opposite if you have kit of hynix DJR. it will probably clock higher even for Dual Rank chip

But these are lots of reports of r b clocking very high

Will do more
It's probably different kit.
Not to give label on corsair one, but corsair usually have lower quality chip when it comes to micron / hynix.
Their samsung b-die kit also, if the code is 4.32, it's almost same clocking to samsung c/s die.

And you could factor in your IMC of procie and dimm slot on your mobo.

12gen has best IMC imho

HELP. CAN'T FIND TCWL VOLTAGE ON ASUS BIOS..

1. You're on intel 12 gen right? If so, for dram overclocking, voltage options include: SA voltage / VCCIO (you can start with 0.9v all the way to 1.15v max; tx vddq, vddq (for 4k and c18 you can start with 1.4v), and IMC voltage (this varies, for DDR5 I started with 1.3v, dunno about ddr4).

The SA / VCCIO is the same terms with AMD's SoC voltage.

2. For OS recovery, you may try to run 1 stick of ram on the A2 slot, clear cmos, and then try to boot using 1 stick.
Hopefully your OS still OK.
And please, settle with 4k first while trying to fix the primary timing (for example 18-24-18-18), then if stable you can try to go higher freq with the same primary timing, and increase the vdimm per 0.02v increament.

First 12th Gen intel does not have.vccio

Second why are tightening timings instead of loosing em.

Plus my shit mostly likely needs only cas tighten up. Based on my tests before bsod.

Are tcwl and tcl the same thing? Cause my bios doesn't have tcwl. Only tcl.

Anytime knows if I enable xmp 2 and set in bios will be help to tight primary timings or better off with xmp 1 and auto on rest?
