This should be a $200 card and the fact it isn't is the continuation of the fuckery we have endured for the past 5 years and this blows the fattest of donkey cock.Cheapest 10 gig 6700 shipping from the US are $280 with a free games on newegg right now
6700xt are $340
If this end up a bit weaker than a 6700xt like the rumors, at what price would it need to be to change anything ?

The cheapest Radeon RX 6800 has dropped to $479, while the GeForce RTX 3070 now starts at $456, making them direct rivals.
While Nvidia has now launched the GeForce RTX 4070 to replace the GeForce RTX 3070, AMD hasn't released a successor to the Radeon RX 6800. The GeForce RTX 4070 also enters the market at $599, 20% higher than its predecessor's MSRP while offering GeForce RTX 3080-level performance at lower power requirements.

AMD tested the two graphics cards at a native 1440p (2560x1440) resolution. However, the chipmaker didn't clarify which graphics settings it had used for the tests, which is an important piece of data. Nevertheless, AMD's claims generally align with our own results so there doesn't seem to be any funny business going on.

It's almost like they are giving up.
Or they're really desperately trying to sell old product that they no longer want sitting on shelves or in warehouses, and the best way to do that is to continue to hype it up otherwise you have a waiting game of "well the new one will be out soon..."It's almost like they are giving up.

Why....
would rather they focused on 1 and gave us a single cheaper option by focusing on volume than trying to spruce up that turd.Gotta cover all the angles of value up to the 4070's MSRP.
well if you haven't noticed manufactures care fuckall to what you would rather have and would rather make decisions like this complicated and lets be honest only like one of those cards is selling for MSRP as demanded by their green overlords and once that 2 month requirement window closes that model disappears super fast and you get all the other ones that pop onto the scene.would rather they focused on 1 and gave us a single cheaper option by focusing on volume than trying to spruce up that turd.
I am not sure disappears is the right word, as they don't even move below MSRP, slowly rot in the corner seems more appropriatewell if you haven't noticed manufactures care fuckall to what you would rather have and would rather make decisions like this complicated and lets be honest only like one of those cards is selling for MSRP as demanded by their green overlords and once that 2 month requirement window closes that model disappears super fast and you get all the other ones that pop onto the scene.
Pretty tight
"RDNA3 Navi 31 and Navi 33 GPU products have already reached the retail market—AMD's high-end (chiplet design) Radeon RX 7900-series is based on the former and it launched last December. The latter arrived in the (monolithic N33 XL) form of Radeon RX 7600 cards at the end of May 2023. Even board partners are seemingly becoming impatient about a lack of new offerings in the mid-range—Sapphire is very likely to release another previous gen Radeon RX 6750 XT custom card this week in China. Team Red has not publicly acknowledged that Navi 32 is a work in-progress, so it is slightly odd that an example sits next to EPYC Genoa, Raphael, and Raphael X3D dies on a table—spotted in the Forbes video feature. Screenshots show an Infinity Cache setup with four memory stacks on a previously unseen die. Leaks have indicated that Navi 32 will be a chiplet design with a GCD (200 mm²) in the middle, surrounded by the four MCDs (37.5 mm²). The full package area size is eyeball estimated to occupy around 350 mm² of space, which corroborates info uncovered in the past."

I spoke with a representative from an AMD partner at Computex. At that time they had yet to be informed of AMD's plans for RX 7800 or RX 7700 cards. That could have changed in the couple of weeks since, but as it stands now, I'm not expecting Navi 32 cards any time soon. If I had to look into my crystal ball and guess, I'd suggest a release in September or October would be likely, in time for Christmas.
MLID leak:
16gb 60 CU (7800?) & 12gb 48 CU (7700?) navi 32 to launch in September
Just to set normal AMD expectations: It is 2.5x the performance of 4070Ti while running at a cool 4C, with a passive heat sink and can handle up to 8 x 8k monitors (but limited to 144hz). There is an actively cooled version, if you need a low profile single slot variant.MLID speculation:
AMD to release Navi 32 desktop graphics cards in September
Doubles as one of those scalp massagers too, but unlike the cheap wire ones this one uses targeted ultra sonic vibrations so it feels like the first time every time.Just to set normal AMD expectations: It is 2.5x the performance of 4070Ti while running at a cool 4C, with a passive heat sink and can handle up to 8 x 8k monitors (but limited to 144hz). Hey, that's an unfounded rumor. Oh, wait, we're talking AMD... nevermind.Doubles as one of those scalp massagers too, but unlike the cheap wire ones this one uses targeted ultra sonic vibrations so it feels like the first time every time.
Sort of agree, it weren't for the fact that the 6xxx series is still available. Would actually help AMD if that supply dried up somehow.Well joking aside the timeframe tracks.
Sept launch with early Oct availability get you those holiday sales numbers availability on the 6700 and 6800 parts is still decent but they are looking old, and with how lackluster the 4060 and 4060ti are that would be the time to step up. Because nobody is looking at the 4060 and 4060ti as their first choice.
