AMD 64 3200+...Is this a good mobo?

Im putting together a new comp all in the name of HL2/Doom3. Most of you have probably already done that, but hey, my cash flow isn't the greatest and I finally found a way to buy stuff off of newegg, so give me a break. Anyways I'm getting a AMD 64 3200+ and I was wondering if this was a good enough mobo. I'm also getting a SATA HDD, OCZ Performance Series Dual Channel Kit 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3500, and a eVGA 6800nu. I don't really plan on overclocking, at least not for a long time, because I dont have that much experience with it, mistakes=money, and I dont have money. I just need to know if this is a good stable board. I bought a Raidmax Scorpio 668W case and it came with a 420W PSU. I debating on whether im going to use that, or buy a Fortron 530W Power Supply, Model "FSP530-60GNA"

PC3500 is implied that you overclock. Or else you would have to "underclock" the RAM.

I see in your sig that your ram is underclocked...any side affects?

Nevermind about the above motherboard, I decided to get the MSI K8N Neo Platinum MS-7030. Except, it says it only supports single channel ram...so im gonna have to pick out some diff ram im guessing....
