However, there have been some complaints about "rebate scams". Shall I just go S12II-620 for $43 after $5 rebate for less risk....... Thinking about cfing RX480 in the future.

Rebates are not necessarily scams. I receive a vast majority of the rebates I submit, but I also follow the instructions carefully.

A 750W Gold rated PSU appears to be a good deal on the surface, but there are a lot of complaints about this unit at newegg. I would stick with the Seasonic.

I usually stick with Seasonic, but since EVGA has more warranty, 10 years seems to be a no brainer, after being tested by JohnnyGuru.
