https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ju6500/settingsInteresting....i'll look into that. Not sure exactly what is wrong with this TV yet. Seems overly blue and very washed out to me. Spent the last 4 hours dicking with it, played some rdr2 @ 4k on a 2070. Looks horrific when game mode is activated. Only HDMI 1 can activate the UHD color mode.
This is a great guide. I didn't read the entire thread,l so if this was already said then my apologies...
On these TVs. If you leave it on standard with the eco bullshit on... It will dim your screen at night. Drove me crazy until I put it on "entertainment".
But absolutely a great guide.
I do like it. The "curve" is sort of laughable at least for me with a 40 inch screen, But overall a great buy.Yeah, the only thing I do not like about this TV is that if you did not use V Sync or cap the fps to 60, you get terrible screen tearing in games. Otherwise, this screen is really good and the guide was really helpful.

Does anyone know of any cheaper compatible remotes?
My JU6700 has the motion nonsense but no voice control... The cheap buncha-buttons remote from the J5200 I also have controls everything just fine. It's a BN59-01199F
Here's a fun fact that I was not aware of... There is space between the clear/satin glare defusing layer and the rest of the LCD panel in my JU6700. I know this because there's a damned bug wandering around in mine. At first I thought it was just another stupid Google thing because I initially saw it in a YT video but no, it's not constrained to any particular app it's really there inside my screen and irritating me to no end.
Any thoughts on how to get a tiny fly out of a 48" screen before it does front and center just to really make my day?
I have been using my J9000 with these settings for four or five years. I tried to fix scaling on a particular program and now everything is slightly blurry. Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.
I wish I could help you but I gave up and and now using my u6900 on my XBox One X and it works great there. I got tired of the screen tearing when playing games and not using HDR when in Windows nor having the option.
This thread is obviously a little dated - anyone using one of the newer models (like the 2021 QN90A) as a monitor? I've been really, really happy with my KS8000, but am interested in something that can handle VRR and HDMI 2.1 functionality. Reviews at RTINGS seem strong in the PC monitor and HDR gaming categories...which is basically my #1 use case.
But burn in? I do a lot of "productivity" which tends to leave things in large portions of the screen static.LG CX or GX I have the GX and blows it away
Just be smart and get a warranty vs the 1 year, I got it at Costco and get the costco card + 5 years, Best buy also has a good option with their warranty. But burn in? I do a lot of "productivity" which tends to leave things in large portions of the screen static.
