I have a few Dell 2950 and 1900 servers right now that are temporarily sitting on some rack mount shelves on a two post rack. I have space constraints and I'm not sure if I will be able to fit a full 4 post rack/cabinet in the room it needs to go in. I have seen some kits available online that will adapt the rapid rails system so you can use it on a two post rack. Has anyone had any experience with such kits?
Thanks in advance.

I've used these for PE 2950's:

http://www.racksolutions.com/dell-poweredge-2950-slide-rail-kit.shtml

They're fine except for the fact that there's no cable arm and no way of stopping the server from being pulled out all the way (and falling to the floor).

Also they come in a configuration for a 4 post cabinet. Expect to spend some time decoding the instruction book and breaking the rails down to their base parts to assemble them for 2 post.
