I know it's scary, but my buddy and I both delidded our CPU's with a single edge razor scraper blade. It was really easy, just slide it under the heat spreader corner and work your way around. took a minute to do.

I've got a the rocket one (whatever its called) same as pictured in the link. Used it on my 8700k and 6700k.

Can toss in the liquid metal and stuff for the seal.

Been meaning to sell it once I was done with it.
