I've owned my Dell U3415W IPS monitor for over a year now and as time goes on, these strange shadowy-like lines get worse and worse. Not sure what it is. Wasn't like this at all when I purchased it. It started to appear after 6-7 months of use. Could it possibly be the so called "clouding"...
