I have a combo that needs some new love! 4670k with Asus Gryphon MB and 32G of G.Skill DDR3. All boxes are included and accessories. Asking $Sold (sorry all!) shipped CONUS. Not looking for trades right now.
My gaming rig's mobo is an older ASUS Maximus Hero VII. The board disables items when in "m.2" mode.
I also have a Asus TUF Z270 that I don't see anything listed as being disabled when using m.2 drives.
So my questions about the ASUS TUF Z270 are this.
1. It looks like it has two M.2 Slots...

Hi everyone, I built a new PC 3-4 days ago. Everything is fine, but the temperatures are kind of high. Under load (gaming) it doesn't go above 75C, but on idle it constantly sits at 57-58C.
I also noticed that in certain moments the temperatures suddenly spike up to like 67-68C, the fan ramps up...
I recently got a new Asus MG28UQ 4K gaming monitor to replace my faithful Benq GL2760H that replaced an Asus VH236H (now I know why I got the Benq instead of another Asus but I forgot at the time of this purchase why)

Have you guys seen this? It costs way too much and I don't know what to think of the small 2nd screen.... kinda like a super sized smart bar like on the macs. But how useful would that really be?
I would never spend $3k on a laptop, but I know some people do.
Apologies if this is a...
So it's time for me to do a whole new system inside my case: MB/CPU/RAM/Graphics.:geek: I haven't decided yet about AMD or Intel CPU, or AMD or nVidia GPU, but I'm leaning to nVidia. I noticed that ASUS also has different graphics card with these subbrands. I'm leaning to ASUS for the...
First time posting here. I have a Ryzen 7 2700x, with an RTX2070. If I recall correctly, 1080p on some games can put more load on the CPU and result in a drop in fps, whereas 1440p and 2160p puts it more on the graphics card and you can get better fps. My question is, if I upgrade my LG-29UM68-P...
Hi, I am wondering if the ASUS EX-B150M-V3 motherboard can be compatible with Intel Core i5-9400F CPU or if it can work with some BIOS upgrade etc. If anyone can help confirm that would be amazing. Thank you!

SOLDSelling a barely used Asus Strix ROG 1080TI OC Edition 1708 MHz Boost Clock (OC Mode). It's was bought to complete a build for gaming, and unfortunately didn't get much use for that purpose. Excellent condition and great performer. comes with OEM packaging which is also in great shape, minus...

I just read that the estimated price for the Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ is $3500!!! What in the actual F@#K?!?! Is this the new norm for FALD 1000 nit computer monitors? $3500 is WAY out of most people's reach price wise...
I am selling an Asus G751JY-DB73X gaming laptop. It features a Core i7 4870HQ, GTX 980M, 512GB SSD with a 1TB HDD, and 32GB of DDR3-1600. For more detailed specs, look here. It's a terrific, capable laptop, but my gaming rig is faster and I'd like to move to something more portable. It has a...

I started wanting to discuss the comparison of these two as of yet unreleased screens, but realized that didn't fall cleanly into either Omegaferrari 's thread on the Asus ROG XG438Q here, or Vega or Skott 's threads on the Acer Predator CG437K P here and here respectively.
Since they are both...
Wasn't really sure where to post this, but we'll try here.
I recently rotated my i7 920 build out of "main PC" use, so I was going to reuse it as a storage / VM box to play around on. Using the Asus P6T Deluxe original version with the SAS controller.
I did a full CMOS reset and started from...

I'm interested in picking one of these ASUS laptops up for my youngest son who is entering high school next year. My first line of thinking is to upgrade the 128GB m.2 drive with a higher capacity, but don't know how easy it is to get to, so I was wondering if anyone here on the [H] has any...
If you are one of the folks that likes to install the crap that ASUS provides with your motherboard you might just have a nasty backdoor installing malware. According to Kaspersky Labs, via Motherboard, the ASUS servers were hacked last year and the hackers used it to install malware using the...
ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 O8G GAMING Review
The ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 O8G GAMING offers up a good balance of performance and features. The question is, at the $600 price point, does it actually provide the best gameplay experience when you compare it with an AMD Radeon RX Vega 64? We put these...
Worked on my brother's 2700X + Asus X470 Pro (latest bios). The memory won't run at the actual rated speed of 3200, but it will run one under or one OVER. G.Skill TridentZ 14-14-14-34 (Samsung B die), in ANY of the following configurations same results as below: 2x8, 4x8, 2x16.

I have a Win10/Ubuntu/MacOS multiboot UEFI system. Recently my GTX 680 died and I replaced it with GTX 1070. Everything is fine, except the DVI output doesn't work during the boot up and in Windows and MacOS, but it works in Ubuntu, weirdly enough. Currently I'm using one of the DisplayPorts. I...
I just purchased an Asus Turbo RTX 2080. Thing is, they don't put a backplate on these cards.
Anyways, I know some of you guys put waterblocks on these and have no use for the original backplate. So, I'm looking for one of these that will fit my card.
Card in question is this...
ASUS PRIME Z390-A LGA 1151 Motherboard Review
Sometimes less is more. We typically work with a lot of motherboards that fall into the more is more category and some that have a high price that can’t easily be justified by most people. The ASUS PRIME Z390-A seems to lean towards less is more. On...

As the title asks, who has the best long term/after sale BIOS update/driver support for gaming oriented motherboards (I'm processor brand agnostic)?
Likely a super subjective question, but I've been out of the game since about 2008. From what I can see from forum surfing, ASUS seems to be a...
