For me, It is getting bored quick, once you play through new content, or get up in the 200+ levels, as we know, it is just a grind over and over trying to hit those higher pit levels for some special armor you don't have yet, and just mowing down most events, to then get 1 shot killed by a the executioner sky sword you didnt see comingI may give the expansion a try, I'm just not feelin D4 at all really. Could have been the monitor on the 9800x3d box. Just didn't work as well on a 5120x1440.
Maybe when I get the Intel 270k box up and going with a 4k, I'll give it a swing again.
I'd say a mix of both.I'm enjoying the campaign so far, I played through a good portion of it last night as the paladin. I don't know if the game is better than before, or if the paladin is just well made so it's more enjoyable. But so far I'm having a good time. I'm guessing once I hit end game I'll get bored quickly again and shelve it, who knows though anything is possible.
What really blows my mind is how janky and poorly this game still runs after 3 years and it was never a visual or technological power house, even at launch.
The blizzard of old is dead, polish is no longer a thing there. It really is the least refined game they've ever made. It feels like any other studio could've made it. It's an average game, not a great one. What really blows my mind is how janky and poorly this game still runs after 3 years and it was never a visual or technological power house, even at launch.
Please tell me they got rid of the DEI Neyrell character..
runs fine for me on the asrock BC-250 and my windows VM with a virtual Intel b50 pro slice. 60 fps at native res 1080pWhat really blows my mind is how janky and poorly this game still runs after 3 years and it was never a visual or technological power house, even at launch.
Yeah, I haven't played POE2 in over a year, but that game was a microstutter mess and ran like gutter trash on the steam deck. Diablo 4 scales extremely well. It runs well on the steam deck, but you can crank everything up bigly on a high powered PC with high resolution textures, ray tracing, and it supports dlss + framegen.runs fine for me on the asrock BC-250 and my windows VM with a virtual Intel b50 pro slice. 60 fps at native res 1080p
Huh, I'm playing D4 on PC and I've had worse stalls / stutter in this game than PoE 2, but I also played PoE 2 last season. Can't say anything about steam deck in particular, so it might be a different bottleneck.Yeah, I haven't played POE2 in over a year, but that game was a microstutter mess and ran like gutter trash on the steam deck. What a fucking cringe fest. "men are weak" blah blah blah.
