Which RTX 4090 card are you planning or consider to get?

With present info, MSI Supreme. Doubtfull overall unless the 4090 just blows the socks off of AMD and previous generation. And if I get a new monitor that could actually benefit from the increase performance.
 
If I do upgrade it will probably be either an MSI or Gigabyte card. I've had good luck with them since EVGA isn't an option now.

With this issue of having to upgrade my PSU makes me want to wait even more until this all sorts itself out.

You said Corsair, and I'm pretty sure you meant EVGA (PSU supplier to the world).
 
I was actually leaning towards not touching the RTX 4000 series with a 10 foot pole, even if I was wearing a HAZMAT suit.

Or EVGA... I dunno.
 
Waiting it out this time to see what amd has to offer on November 3rd. Had a 3080 for a bit but I am not liking nvidia’s f’ed up pricing on 4080s this time. Plus didn’t like the presentation. It was more about dlss3 than anything. But 4080 pricing really ticked me off Lmao.

probably stick with the FE but ultimately it will come down to price and cooling performance/noise...
 
I guess I'm in the minority of liking that Asus Strix but I do admit it looks HUGE.
 
Nvidia laptop partners release new modern "retro throwback" chonky thick and heavy laptops.

The Gigabyte Master looks decent enough, glad they decided to bring back the RGB on the fans which resembles their 2080 Ti Xtreme series. The MSI Trio one looks nice as well.

Just read their forums and the admin said those prices are placeholders aka they made it up lol. I still think it’s gonna be very close to their guesstimates. 🤣

I think I am going to still get the AIO. The smaller size, quieter, cooler, and it won’t block my M2 slot are the reasons. I could get FE or new case but that AIO I think for me would be better for me. Still crazy that I am going to spend this much for a card. I am running 2070 super for the last 3 years that I think I bought for close to 500. This card should last me 4+ years.

Of course, as an AIO, after 5 years, things get highly questionable.
 
Reports of power supply connector issues with ATx 2.0 got me thinking it might be time to replace my 11 year old Corsair AX1200

Those days are done. If this card is 450W up to 600W+, there's no way in the world a blower style cooler would work for it.

eh... I mean, we'd be talking about a 2+ slot height blower out. I think it's possible. (but not sure why we'd see one)
 
I am holding steady for the 4090... i want to see what it is and how it does before jumping ship. Thankfully i am building a new setup after being in the laptop world for a couple of years.

I would make sure they're at least using Asetek. After looking into the Suprim Liquid, MSI did not state which OEM they are using this time. If they swtiched to Apaltek from China, then I would avoid it at all cost due to their non-stop gunk issues.

Answer of the day. None of them myself.

I'm either going to pick up a new or used 6800xt/6900xt | or radeon 7k series if its price to performance ready.

Anything over 300W of power probably is out of the question as I need something that will fit into mATX system.

While the 4090 looks promising, it would need to be a 2/3 its current price to be of any interest to me what so ever.

Too bad no EVGA card as I think it would be awesome and that would be my preference.

For me, I'm leaning towards the FE since it is likely to be the cheapest. My second choice will be ASUS TUF and again due to cost but ZOTAC one looks very nice (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) with curvy edges....

4090 FE - because I'll be watercooling it. Already have the EK Quantum Vector FE RTX 4090 waterblock on pre-order. Power also isn't an issue as I have a 1350W PS in my rig. Looking forward to keeping my room warm this winter.
 
I'll look at MSI or an FE or ASUS, depending on the market. Custom block once the card is sorted.

My MSI 3090 has been solid since day one, nearly 22 months. So far so good on the 3090Ti.

I will wait a bit to see the first cards go out and shake the issues loose.

The most attractive GPU waterblock in existence. Love the SFF that takes such good advantage of the tiny FE PCB.

EVGA sold their hybrid cards for the same price as the air cooler ones, I suspect a cheapo OEM AIO costs less to produce than a high end 450W+-capable aircooler honestly.

I plan to hold off until AMD release their new cards. As much as I like DLSS 2.0, FSR 2.0+ is just as good.

I do not like having a freaking 4 slot card in my case to be honest. The power draw isn't a concern for me. But, possibly having to buy a new PSU is not something I want to do.

Since I game at 4k 120hz I am always GPU bound.....bring on the new cards!

FSR 2.1 isn't bad, but I woulnd't put it on the same level as DLSS 2.0. I'm more interested in price/perf and perf/per watt, either way I couldn't afford a 4090 and the 4080 pricing is bad.

Looking at reviews with FSR and DLSS. It was basically even in IQ. But, yeah we are getting off topic now lol.
