Anybody plan on grabbing one of the new RX7xxx Navi cards on launch?

If I were in the market for an AMD card, I'd pounce on that deal instantly. :hungry:

    GN: RDNA3 explained in detail.

So you're just going to reiterate what I said. AMD themselves were copycatting, and if you are okay with that, you should be okay with Nvidia doing it, and your post doesn't give that impression. Also, this isn't reddit, I would appreciate if you don't quote me the way you edited it.

    GN: RDNA3 explained in detail.

Just as much as AMD is, of course. For those unaware, AMD did not invent chiplets, let alone MCM. I present to you the IBM z10: IBM released this thing back in 2008, before AMD face planted hard with bulldozer.

Are you camping out / lining up for an RTX 4080?

No one has said or heard anything about any plan. We just know why the RTX 4000 series is priced as it is. Why this is coming as a surprise to many forum members here is anyone's guess really, because it really has been said numerous times in numerous threads.

Are you camping out / lining up for an RTX 4080?

Okay; I thought everyone knew by now, but I guess not. So I'll just go ahead and quote our friend from another thread because it bears repeating some more I guess.

Nvidia's RT performance gains not as expected?

That used to be true, but not anymore since the 4090 was released and I imagine that next generation will make it even better.

Nvidia RTX 4090 power connectors melting?

Reminds me of coffee cup warnings, "Warning: Contents may be hot!".

Further Big Price Cut on AM5 at Newegg, Amazon, B&H Photo, and probably others 7950x @ $550-$555 and 7900x @ $474

That's what I'm thinking. AM5 must not be doing too hot now that they have serious competition back from Intel.

Nvidia 4090 meltdown maybe an answer

Isn't that how we got here though? Instead of dismissing stupidity we constantly reward mediocrity, and so this type of thing will continue to happen?

LG quietly launches 27" OLED monitor with 240hz refresh rate

Waiting for 32" version, 27" too small for me. Been running 32" for over a decade now.

Nvidia RTX 4090 power connectors melting?

Ain't that the truth. Look no further than how the 4090 has sold. It's done so well that even Nvidia was surprised. And then people on this forum wonder why they keep raising the prices; when it just Nvidia trying to find what the market will bear.

Nvidia's RT performance gains not as expected?

If RT performance was measured in a vacuum, sure; but it's not. So comparing Apple to apples is important.

Nvidia's RT performance gains not as expected?

They have shown "up to" and best case scenarios. We will see how well those age with actual benchmarks.

Nvidia's RT performance gains not as expected?

I clearly didn't say that. You should perhaps not put words into other people's mouths.
