    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

I'm really liking the game so far. Sure it helps to be playing it on the best HDR display and $15K Dolby system. 🤣

Best giant UHD HDR monitor like AORUS FO48U but without burn-in issues?

How do you like the HDR on it? It's insane on mine. What firmware version is yours?

    Battlefield 2042

Not sure about BF42 but the gamepad aim assist in MW2/WZ 2 is absolutely laughably insane. Literally insta-snaps onto people if you are looking into an opponents general direction and then insta-snaps to the next enemy player and so on. It's 100% a build in aim-bot and you just have to press...

    27" 240hz OLED Monitor!!! (but there's a catch...)

Oh I was referring to my S95B QD-OLED, not the 34" QD-OLED UW gaming panel. The S95B on older firmware gets insanely bright for an OLED. Here is a real pic of me playing Calisto Protocol in the dark, it's like a 55" PG32UQX but without all of LCD/FALD drawbacks:

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Ya I would say the game is more of a "splatterhouse' type horror game.

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Ya jump scares are the easy button instead of writing actual scary shit. Just like jump scares is "horror" movies are trash.

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Ya maybe atmosphere isn't the right word. Maybe world/setting. Just the architecture, ships, hallways, music. All very well done and love the HDR/graphics. I really love worlds/games that have an "Aliens/Event Horizon" type gritty vibe to them.

    27" 240hz OLED Monitor!!! (but there's a catch...)

HDR needs brightness in addition to contrast. Why my Samsung QD-OLED that can do upwards of 1,500 nits is so amazing. WRGB OLED is just poor tech unfortunately.

    27" 240hz OLED Monitor!!! (but there's a catch...)

This thing is laughably only 200 nits bright. LG OLED is terrible.

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

The atmosphere in this game is second to none. Although the fire is definitely the worst rendered stuff in the game. This is a pic of a red beacon in HDR in the game lighting up my dark room with the Samsung S95B OLED. This display and game were made for one another and an epic experience.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Ya 576 zone FALD is old tech now. FALD needs like 10K zones now to impress me.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

No. I would have preferred a 48-50"er but I heard a rumor that they may come out with a smaller one teased at CES.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

~1,500 nits (on older firmware) on the Samsung vs ~700-800 nits on the LG, with ~99% DCI-P3 color volume on the Samsung, vs 72% DCI-P3 color volume on the LG's is an absolute massive difference. I know, I've had like six LG OLEDs. WRGB oled is like bargain bin tech compared to QD-OLED and...

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

I know this is a 42" OLED thread, but I just purchased the Samsung S95B 55" QD-OLED and my god, god tier gaming display if you have the room. Brightness and colors absolutely destroy LG OLEDs, and 144 Hz 4K too.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

It's hard for me to play this game knowing that the guy that just instant-vaporized me could have literally just pointed his gamepad in my general direction and held down the fire button. Edit: Got to an end circle in WZ 2 and some retard hiding in a bush kills me with a drone I couldn't even...
