Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
That's what I did. R9 Nano for $430 shipped. Matches or beats the 980 in most games, although there is less overclocking room. DX12 performance on that little bugger is impressive too. 4GB hasn't limited frame rates so far, but I know some games gobble that up in a hurry.
I get to use my Safeway gas points at Chevron (no Safeway gas station around here) so this makes it a little bit of a better deal. I do get 3% back on my cash rewards credit card though.
First hiccup in the order process: Fedex didn't ring my doorbell and I missed the delivery. Fedex is also saying that the package has a "delivery restriction" and they cannot hold it at the Fedex facility. They gave me Newegg customer service's contact information (since the order was fulfilled...
Yeah I didn't think there was a good way to do it myself. I might ask on the Club3D forums too but that place is a disaster right now. Heh...see you over at AVS :p That's actually where I first learned about the Club3D adapter (on the 2015 Vizio M series owners thread). I haven't found a lot of...
Anecdotally I can say that I don't notice the lag at all when gaming. My 2015 Vizio M series TV has an input lag of 18.5 ms with interpolation disabled and 43.9 ms with interpolation enabled. The extra 25 ms is very noticeable to me, so I would have to say the Club3D adapter falls somewhere in...
Thanks for the heads up. I have high hopes for this rebate because Asus states this is "All Retailers" not newegg / B&H / other retailer specific. I'll report back if I have any issues.
Android Pay existed via "Google Wallet" long before Samsung Pay and Apple Pay existed. Google Wallet supported NFC payments years ago and works on any phone that has NFC.
The guy above was saying the deal is no good on the S6. Samsung Pay works fine, but the offer only applies to Galaxy s7 and...
Stole the words right out of my mouth. I use the Club3D adapter to get 4k60 out of my 270x and plan to use it on my nano. Sure it's definitely annoying that HDMI 2.0 isn't supported out of the box, but the adapter works flawlessly (audio too!) so I really can't complain that much.
As a side...
Fair enough. I guess my logic is that it's a better deal than both the 980 and 390x, and if the goal is max performance, then it's the best deal for that tier of card (again, if max performance is what OP is looking for near his budget). I personally don't think the 390 is enough of a...
I'm not sure how you classify the nano at $438 as a "terrible deal" when it often matches or exceeds the performance of a 980 and is cheaper with that deal. It's not the best deal by any stretch of the imagination, but it's the most performance you'll get out of a sub $500 card right now unless...
