I recently purchased a smaller/non-special NIB Sony CRT.
Even compared to my LG OLED@120Hz it's insane what we had to give up in terms of motion clarity, contrast, and picture quality when CRTs were phased out.
In 2022 it **absolutely** is a reason to suspect future microtransaction bullshit.
I'm still looking forward to the game - as long as it's 100% singleplayer and offline.

I never noticed this cheap cheese in previous Soulsborne games - or at least never to this extent. Granted I didn’t play Sekiro and if comments are to be believed that...
It wasn't so simple. Initially, Microsoft overrode the function of the 'X' button such that clicking it was the same as clicking the "Upgrade now" button. They did revert it to expected behavior a couple months later, but soon after replaced it...
The compatibility issue wasn't that fundamental. Microsoft already had that with Windows NT on MIPS, PowerPC (on Alpha there was DEC FX!32). Also the jailbroken Windows RT devices showed that you could run .NET applications fine without any...
I'd like to know what's a GPU manufacturer doing with anything security related? For them to get hacked means that Nvidia wasn't paying as much for their network security as they should.
Nouveau is a dead project as far as I'm concerned...
There are two potential issues at play here and a semi-third specifically about leaks like this:
1) exact copy-pasta of the leaked proprietary code: nobody in (FL)OSS does this (or if they do they are braindead) since it’s a recipe for lawsuits...
So the game sold extremely well.
Elden Ring is the biggest non-FIFA or Call of Duty launch since Red Dead Redemption 2 | UK Digital Charts
Bigger than Assassin's Creed Valhalla, bigger than Cyberpunk 2077
It can potentially be a National Security disaster if the leaked data includes export-controlled design data (iirc this is usually some gnarly floating-point or cryptography designs).
What I'm really curious about is if Nvidia will face Federal...
I doubt Microsoft left the Domain trick for system builders. They could just put a "skip for now" button like in the past. I get that no business wants you to use a Microsoft account but in Microsoft's defense what's more secure than being with...
Honestly, from what I've seen so far, i'm having an easier time than Sekiro. Mostly because there is so many enemies/stuff around that lets you get your levels up without it feeling like grinding. Not saying it's easy of course, some enemies are...
10/10 game
Can't swim, can't climb, can't vault over a chest high wall.
Dated mechanics aside, I'm having a blast with this. Coastal cave was my first dungeon and I almost threw in the towel at the boss. I was about to come here and rage post...
