    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

Thanks. My only remaining question is I wonder how easy it is to return this TV if I buy it from the LG site. If I get the 42" and it is just too big for me to get used to and I want to send it back.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

ugghhhh Can't decide if I should pull the trigger or wait for the WBE panel. Probably has zero difference on the 42".. but i have waited this long might as well wait a couple more months...

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

Vincent at Value Electronics mentioned on a recent stream with Stop the Fomo on youtube that he wasn't expecting to see the 42" C2 Oled until July. He typically is one of the first to receive new stock so I think we will be waiting for these 41" TVs for a few more months. Anyone remember...

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

I also would prefer the Asus due to the displayport, antiglare and heatsink on the monitor, however, I don't see this Asus monitor being released before Q4 2022. The LG new LG TV's don't typically becoming available until the May time frame. Then you have to wait for Asus to add all their...

    Gigabyte AORUS FO48U 48" 4K 120Hz OLED

I am hoping the increased pixel density on the 42" OLEDs will make up for the less clear text of the WRGB panel. Or at least make it a bit better than the 48". Kinda like the older pentile displays on Samsung phone OLEDS. Eventually the pixels get so small it doesn't matter anymore.

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

THIS. Another reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that they will put a 120hz version on the market in the next year right after I buy this one. I am going to wait and see what companies announce at CES this January before making a final decision. Also, hopefully there will be better...

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

The 60hz refresh rate I consider less of an issue than lack of any VRR. I wish the monitor had some sort of VRR or Freesync even if it was just in the 40-60hz range like the early 4k monitors did. I doubt my GPU could push 4k at 90 to 100 FPS without turning the settings down anyway.

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

Thanks! Do you own this monitor? How is it for gaming? I have a 1440p 144hz VA monitor now that I use VRR with. I am not sure how I will feel going back to 60hz and vsync again... Its funny because that is the way I gamed for decades and now I feel spoiled by VRR. However, I only game at...

LG to make a 42" OLED panel in 2021!

I doubt LG would suddenly segment their TVs like that. Even the B1 OLEDS still get VRR and HDMI 2.1 The 48" C1 still has all the same features as its larger versions.

LG to make a 42" OLED panel in 2021!

I am really looking forward to the 42" OLED for my PC. I think it would have all the same specs as the regular 'C' series OLED TVs that LG has come out with these past several years. The only thing that annoys me is that LG will probably announce the 42" at CES this January but then you wont...

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

hmmm still can't buy the LG 32EP950 Oled monitor anywhere yet.... B&H keeps pushing back the availability date. Wonder if this is covid related or some other issue manufacturing this monitor.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I read the TFT article. They didn't mention availability that I saw. Not much to go on other than the 'End of May' that Asus mentioned. Looks like Microcenter at least has a page up for it at $2,999 but it is listed as sold out.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Yeah. that makes sense. I would think that H1 next year is the soonest we would see it.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I saw the optimum tech review. I was disappointed with the fan noise. I wish we had a better idea when the 42" LG OLED TVs would be released because I think I would lean to that at this point even though 42" is still probably too big for me.
