Would you recommend upgrading to a x5660 from a 920 at higher resolutions than 1080?
At 1080 Im definately bottlenecking my 780ti at this point but at 3440x1440 my gpu opens up. Would I gain anything at this resolution with the Xeon. Was thinking about going with the new 5820k, but I just cant...
I believe this, I recently was playing GTA IV with GeDoSaTo at 5160x2160 and was having framerates in the 50's, with DSR with 2.00x the native resolution (which is lower than 5160x2160) My framerate was struggling in the low 40's to high 30's. This is with a 780ti btw
Wierd I don't know what it is. I found a guy on youtube that had the same problem with codemaster racing games. They all default to 49fps with vsync. I've tried maybe 50 or so games since I received the monitor months ago and all codemaster racing games except for Dirt 2 and Alien Isolation all...
In some games my fps with vsync on is capped at 49, Alien Isolation is the latest one and Grid 2 before that. Every other game is 60. If I drop the resolution to 2560x1080 it goes to 60 in both games but the native 3440x1440 is stuck at 49.
Any of you have this issue or know how to solve it?
Anyone know the best way to force the monitor to 2560x1440? I would really like to play Dota 2 at that resolution with black bars on the side, but the monitor goes from 3440x1440 straight to 2560x1080 and then 1920x1440.
Yes, I am not including Crysis 3, or either of the Metro games in my blanket (I can max out everything I have tried) statement. I do own Metro 2033, but I beat it years ago and don't have it installed, haven't gotten around to purchasing Crysis 3 or Last Light. I guess the most demanding game I...
I have a 1 780Ti and I can max out everything that I have tried and the only game that isn't a solid 60 at ultra settings would be Far Cry 3, it hovers around 40 to 50.
Damn I've been playing BF4 and thought it was a glorious experience hah
I received the monitor last week and it is fricken amazing, from the 27 Korean 1440p I had to this is just, wow. Been playing all kinds of different games from Borderlands 2 to Grid 2 and they all run flawless. The 21:9 aspect ratio is so immersive, I just love it.
