    So it's basically lube then.

BF single player always seems to get a lot of hate but it's not actually that bad. It's usually at least decent and pretty cinematic. I did like BF3's a lot too. It felt really satisfying with a great diversity of missions and locations, even...

The campaign of 3 was fantastic. They turned it into more of CoD set piece action in 4, but it was still decent.

Originally the g-sync module had no scaler at all so you were forced to rely on GPU scaling (not necessarily a bad thing, GPUs are fast). So I think you may right that this is just an evolution of the module which may be a good or a bad thing...

I can't be as enthusiastic as he is but there is a lot that I like about the game. But it's just horribly messy and broken overall and was released way too soon and at the worst time possible for an unfinished game (right before devs go on their...

HDMI cable update, I spotted https://www.amazon.com/FIBBR-4K120Hz-Dynamic-Optical-Compatible/dp/B09KZK1QV2 and was floored by how cheap it was for a fiber HDMI 2.1 cable and gave the 5m a try (I really only need like 1.5m with my current setup...

Very useful info thank you. I was able to find the same one on amazon EU so this goes right in my cart.

Lol, yup. I felt the same way even being limited to HDMI 2.0 (4K, 120Hz, no VRR etc.). As you’ve noticed, the responsiveness is crazy good. Once I got my 3090 and was able to take full advantage of all features…hoo boy, definitely dialed it up to...

Because games are fun man. Not everybody is playing against the likes of Shroud. Some of us play on public servers against randoms which doesn't require a super duper 360 Hz refresh rate to be effective.

I played like that for a few months when I was stuck with my 1080 ti. IMO it looks quite good in games, the softness isn't horrible, it's pretty clean looking. On the desktop I don't remember, I always just used 4k.

Besides the tearing thing, if your monitor has a fixed refresh rate and the game sends a framerate that is not strictly equal or an integer multiple of that number, you will get dropped or repeated frames, in other words, stutters. That's just...

The game is starting to run and play much better with the patches, even infantry is starting to offer a decent experience. But then, I did spawn under the map with a bunch of other people in my team in breakthrough and we pretty much insta lost...

He must not be very old if he thinks this is the worst launch in history. I've seen paper launches of CPU's and GPU's where they were no where to be found for weeks and even months. We didn't have the same scalping issues or supply chain problems...

AMD cannot sell you DDR4/5 either, you do know that memory is supplied by other companies? Everything Intel is selling at the moment, you are able to get.

Speaking of significance, this nag it is insignificant. No one told to throw 4K out of the window, at two years Covid-19 times, along chip shortages times. All car factories minimized cars production to 50%. Start using your TV set, so to watch...

this is not an intel problem, this is a supply problem of very new tech. Let's say you bought an AMD setup requiring DDR5, would you then come here and spout that you would never buy an AMD CPU again?

kalston replied to the thread Oculus Quest 2.
For me there doesn't even seem to be a visual quality difference between wired and wireless (Airlink) on the Quest 2, even when I go up to 500mb/s with the cable, it seems like total overkill without much benefit. And I'm not saying it looks...

TechPowerUp's review on the ALTA F1 is up now. Not a glowing review as expected due to the high cost for us to bring to North America, but it did perform well in many of their cooling tests!
