One of the worse PC builds you seen.....

Watch the video before commenting?!? C'mon man, this is THE INTERNET..... ;) No I didn't, I assumed it was another amateur build where they use zip ties and elmers glue to secure things...

One of the worse PC builds you seen.....

Honestly tho, we've all built like this in the past. You see these people spending an extra $100+ just on cable sleeves, longer extensions so they can tuck their runs out of the way, all in the name of keeping the PC "cooler", when in reality its just aesthetics. They want a clean case, its a...

Crypto Miners, Not Gamers, Were The Primary Buyers of Graphics Cards Since 2021, Almost $15 Billion Worth of GPU Sales Reported

Right, with you on this, but what I don't get is the worry......like other posters have said "I never buy used, those things have been overclocked to hell and back". To me, I go "nice, proven track record, will you take an anonymous out of state check?" :) The thinking: These cards, even if...

Crypto Miners, Not Gamers, Were The Primary Buyers of Graphics Cards Since 2021, Almost $15 Billion Worth of GPU Sales Reported

So for those of us not following too closely, is this like Silicon degradation on the cards just like if you overclock/volt a CPU? I had my 2600k overclocked and over volted to maintain that clock for 9 years (this thing was on all the time).....over time the OC had to be backed down from 4.8...

AMD GPU Roadmap: RDNA 3 With 5nm GPU Chiplets Coming This Year

On the PC front I'm a little less excited, sort of more-of-the-same.....Still using an 8700k, so far so good. However, I'm more curious what this means to a 2024 (more likely than 2023) console refresh....depends on how long fab's want to keep pumping out the current chipsets for those boxes.

Rare Apple-1 Computer Signed by Steve Wozniak Up for Auction

The good old days of mono playback and 6 C-cell batteries that lasted roughly 3 hours. Years later we all had the same entry-level Panasonic boom box and the exact same model of Sony Walkman. Such Times....

    Starlink avail now for RVs

I think Starlink (residential) geo-locks your location after you set it up, I saw something on The YouTubes about this.......RV'ers and people who like to VanLife were complaining. Guess Tesla heard the call to help people spend their money :)

Samsung Display to close LCD business

Agreed, but the headline is misleading.......I guess all this is saying is that Samsung is getting out of the non Quantum Dot LCD business (meaning no more cheap non-QD back or edge lit LCD's) , because Quantum Dot LCD's are still LCD's.....they just have an added layer on the panel that does...

Samsung Display to close LCD business

Uh.......isn't Quantum Dot just another layer on top of an existing LCD Panel?

    Apple Discontinues Last iPod Model

....right......the next track button i was referring to. I've had too many songs on a device before, particularly irritating when driving, and having to constantly hit next..next..next...then you realize you're better off making mix-tapes/playlists and suddenly you aren't carrying 80k songs...

    Apple Discontinues Last iPod Model

Still have an early touch and a Nano, but never had one of the HD models because I just never had THAT much music.....people who absolutely needed 80,000 songs freak me out, I'd spend most of the time wearing out the "Next Track" button.....but hey, you do you song-obsessed people :) iTunes to...
