Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have some vague, fuzzy memory of a great sci-fi short story that revolved around fiefdoms that controlled old garbage dumps, and generated their wealth from salvaging shit we threw away.
Closer to topic, AMD is raising prices on its GPU bundles 10% this month.
I'll be damned, the three I ordered shipped yesterday and were just delivered. Just in time for my SteamOS box! If you're local to the Front Range or southern Wyoming, happy to sell you one at cost ($596).
Thirding. I picked up a bunch of < $140 Ryzen 5 9600X and Core Ultra 5 225 CPUs. Still have plenty of 16GB DDR5 kits and 1TB SSDs from prior years' sales. I mostly build entry-level 1440p gaming rigs and have enough parts now for another dozen or so of those.
Walmart has had many excellent prices on SSDs, RAM, HDDs, etc. as prices have increased over the last six months. Most of the smoking hot price orders I've placed have been cancelled but some have gone through. Fingers crossed on this one...
Sounds like upper-level leadership at most institutions. They have a "vision" (which is mostly copying whatever fad piqued their interest), then people who actually do the work get stuck trying to make the best of the suboptimal situation. Shit never changes.
Are you looking for investors? If so, what's the minimum buy-in that you'd consider? Four figures? Five figures? Six figures?
IDK wtf most of that means but I believe in your track record.
