My only presedent is the last Gen. The 5700X was to hold the price/performance slot and the 5800X3D to offer an enthusiest part. I'll bet that the 7800X3D will be the first V-Cache chip released and the only 7800 version made.
In the released line-up I noticed that after the 7950X and 7900X they drop down to the 7700X. I thought this puzzling as with the 5000 series we had no 5700X until very late and the same time roughly as the 5800X3D.
My crystal ball guess here in...
My point is because you aren't experienced in this and you have a shortage of $$, I would recomend getting a used Laptop that has the old-skool features you want, like a replacable drive etc... that way you know you're getting something that...
How about something a simple as this.

That's the historical norm of corporatism. There is a difference.
nVidia had the ever-deepening pockets along the way to start buying up various IP and eventually entire companies...not one peep from the taxpayer funded government...
I've heard, but not tested that the super cache of the 5800X3d makes even potato RAM fine. I'm sure there are at least some improvements over potato but your RAM is no potato and enjoy some myself so feel confidant.
Yes those sticks use Samsung b die with makes them some of the best for overclocking while performing ok at XMP.
Less programs will benefit from faster RAM with the 5800X3D due to the large cache but there is still some that flood the cache and...
Seems to be the norm of modern capitalism. Companies buy each other out until there is two power houses and they share they willingly share the pie. It gets a little more muddled now as we don't even know the echelon companies that own so much in...
Ya was myself a huge Matrox fan back in the day. They always innovated IMO and made quality gear. They didn't have deep pocket to play the game when GPU's went big.
Oh great we can pretend to play REAL secret aircraft. Makes me feel special. So very special in my imaginary life that has fallen so short. Thank God for games as I might realize reality is a sham. Good thing I am a Sci-Fi die-hard and suck back...
Hey thanks. Glad to see they didn't drop Zen1 support and only that achient bristol Ridge crap that no one bought. The thought of loosing CPU support mid upgrade gave me nightmares and probably would not have attempted it.
