Using a Pelican Case to transport PC

I would pull the GPU as mentioned.. The AIO is probably fine, most of the mass is secured to case, if it were a tower cooler I'd pull it. I'm not sure what hard drives you have. If it's not carry-on, you may want to just store those in a carry-on bag. Just pad the suitcase and you'll be fine...

    Motherboard Standoff Clips

That's basically what I've sets my mind to as well.I'll just need to get some washers large enough to cover the square voids.

    Motherboard Standoff Clips

That has been my backup plan, just use enough washers to make it roughly level and score the threading so it can't back out, or at least with a standard mobo screw Interesting suggestion, I'll have to look at that further. But I did try Google before coming here and came up with zilch other...

    Motherboard Standoff Clips

Hello HardForum, I'm doing a mild casemod to an old Dell XPS Pro200n, It uses a tensioned folded piece of metal with threading in it to act as a standoff for the motherboard rather than the typical brass threaded ones. Does anyone know where I could find some of these? I'd love to replace...

Facebook Employees Panic After Apple Revokes the Company's Enterprise Certificate

I definitely appreciate Apple's tact for the consumer here. I don't trust Facebook and say good on Apple.

    Watercooling a rackmount 4U

The top barely clears the power cables on the graphics cards. Doing it again, I'd get a 5U case and get a more standard 120mm fan by the I/O. That is good to know about the fans, as long as it's sealed. I could make some extension tubes from the front with some pipe and some laser cut plastic...

Motorola Patent Hints at a Fullscreen Razr

In the same boat, bailed on Moto after the Droid Turbo came out. To each their own, but that's my 2 cents.

Save Zero Dollars by Opting for Intel's iGPU-Disabled CPUs

That iGPU is the only damned reason I got this board to boot after a period of weirdness. In fact, I am quite inconvenienced when i need a lower-power graphics card to run something, IE my server's previous board had no graphics out. There I go complaining about free stuff though.

Love this type of stuff, thanks for the article!

    Watercooling a rackmount 4U

That is a very fair statement, I have definitely cleaned it up. I was having some board issues and removing it much more often then I had cared, so I became sloppy. It's better now, all the cables are bound together and not just random. That being said, it's also a case with no window. Noted on...

Does Adjusting Graphics Settings Lower Than the Game Allows Constitute Cheating?

I've definitely turned graphics settings down in a game to see where things were "hiding" in tall grasses. I don't think it's cheating if it's an option in the game. To that effect if I can change it in a GUI menu, I don't think it's cheating per se.

    Watercooling a rackmount 4U

Hello everyone, I've looked into some WC things before ,but I've never ever done anything physically with it. I've got a Chenbro RM41300, that conveniently has 2 80mm fans above the I/O panel, two 120mm on top, and one 80mm and a 120mm in front. With this case I'm pretty limited to a 120mm rad...
