For anyone who is thinking about the Viewsonic XG320U or already has one: Apparently this monitor's brightness is gimped from the factory. There is an "Energy Saver" mode that's on by default that cuts the brightness nearly in half. I turned it...
I'm at 33 brightness, 57 contrast in SDR all day for work. On my PC I run in Auto HDR mode, 57 contrast on monitor, 33 SDR brightness (windows setting) and 70 contrast in Nvidia desktop color). My eyes are more sensitive to brightness, but these...
That's unfortunate if that's the case. Not going with 240hz is wasted potential. That being said, I'll still be picking one of these up eventually to replace my 1440p 270hz display because the pros far outweigh the cons, IMO.

Having downsized from the larger model I really would not protest to a little extra width. If I had a 3.5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD or two I would have been in for a real challenge. I'm glad that the temps are nearly identical to the full size. GPU...
Yeah I'm not really sure what the point of clear back panels with most new cases having covers over the entire side of the case lol. This one doesn't but not enough space is definitely a design failure to meet a size requirement.
Not exactly "solve", but mitigate it. I saw some specialists and had tests, images, etc... done. Lead to nowhere. I play a lot less games now, but I still mouse ~8 hours a day for work. I switch to a left handed vertical mouse when my right wrist...
Glad I went with the steel panel version. Seems like that video confirmed it would been even harder with the extra thickness of TG pressing against the backside cables. It's a shame they don't offer a version with a steel panel on the backside...
